Makes tricky sewing procedures much easier
I used this product to install an invisible zipper and then to put in a narrow hem with my coverstitch machine in the dress in the photo. In both cases it led to a marked decrease in ripping and swearing. Not really sticky, but just enough to keep squirmy fabric (velour) in place while being stitched. Did not stick to the machine needle, and my coverstitch machine, in particular, would make a big issue out of this if it did. Makes a professional-appearing project.

I bought this on a whim and now it’s one of my favorite notions!
I bought this on a whim when I was learning to make Fannypacks! It worked well then and I was so happy I had it!!Since then, I’ve used it to pattern match a quilt backing (vs Elmer’s Glue which is always in short supply in this household that has two elementary aged children) and I’ve used it to adhere Girl Scout Patches before I sewed them onto vests.I didn’t expect to use it this often, but I’m super pumped I have had it on hand for all of my projects! It’s legit AWESOME.

Good adhesion
I used this to replace a heavy duty metal zipper in a winter coat. It held beautifully. Did not gum up my machine, and I like that it will wash out. I had ordered a different brand that was not sticky at all. Was very happy that this one worked. Maybe it depends on where the manufacturer stores the tape. Since it’s water soluble it can lose adhesiveness in humid conditions.

Didn't work for me. Not enough stick.
I was excited to use this tape for holding down binding on a quilt before sewing. It got lots of great reviews and there was two rolls in the package. When I got it, I separated them and gave one to a friend. I finished my little quilt and got out the tape but I could not get it to stick to the fabric on either side. I threw the strip away that I was using as I thought maybe I should go a little deeper in the roll. So, I did. No difference.I would have returned it if I hadn't shared it with a friend. I'm happy that it worked great for some who have review it, but the roll I was using didn't hold the fabric at all. I was just using 100% cotton so it was normal type fabric. Sorry, I really wanted to like it. Disappointed.

Great stuff!
Oh my, wish I knew about this double sided tape before…great for zipper applications, hemming, etc. The price is so inexpensive and great quality. I’ll be purchasing more soon!

Works well
I find that this tape stick to fabric better than my Collins Wash Away tape but then I have had the Collins for a while. Anyway, this tape sticks to the fabric well and does what I need it to do. The only problem I had was with separating the two rolls of tape. There is a paper between the two but the paper only covers the very center of the tape so it is something of a challenge to separate the rolls. They need to make it a larger devider between the rolls. The only other thing to note is that you can't just rinse this tape out, it needs to go into the washer to remove all the glue. This tape is great for applying zippers and for folding a quarter inch seam allowance. I would buy this again. Just be sure not to use it on something that can't go into the washer.

First try!
I normally do bindings by hand, and a throw size can take up to five hours of hand pain. Since I am quilting for charity, and mostly these quilts go to kids, I thought a machine done binding might be a good choice, but pins and clips just didn't work well. I just finished two quilt bindings in under 90 minutes, and expect that to improve with practice. The tape sticks well, and can be re-positioned. I did two roughly 54" by 60" quilts and still have oodles left on the first roll, so I am going to guess it is 22 yards per roll, two rolls per pack, so a pretty good value. I am taking it to the quilting group tomorrow with a doll quilt ready for binding to show what I did. I think this will be a hit, as we are getting older and the arthritis is hitting us all! LOL.

Works well so far, but don’t open if it’s hot out!
The rolls are bigger than the ones I’ve used in the past, which is great value for money but leads to issues when opening on a hot day. As you can see in the picture, some of the tape “derailed” because its lost its integrity with the heat (+30C today). Definitely put it in the fridge or freezer before opening the tape package. Otherwise, works well for bag making!

Fabric must be damp
The fabric must be quite damp for the glue to stick. It WILL NOT stick to dry material except smooth plastic.

Pure crap!
If I could have given 0 or negative stars for this product I would have done so. This tape would not have stuck to itself let alone fabric. DO NOT BUY!!! Thankfully I was able to get a full refund.
