This boots lasted me 2 years of really hard use and abuse, getting completely wet under heavy rain, getting cement all over it without cleaning several times, bending and flexing, running at work, and kicking stuff with it, from 8 to 10h a day 6 days a week.After so much abuse over time but almost 2 years later the soles started coming apart slightly, all the rest of the boot still in great shape.The soles are great,they don't slip in pretty much any kind of surface.The only thing I definitely recommend is getting better insoles, besides that, this is a perfect work boot.I really recommend them, this is my first review, just wanted to help cause I know how hard it is to find durable things these days.Don't have pictures of it cause my dog vomited inside of it and i needed to replace them anyways so i trew them away.Almost forgot, the waterproof capability is really good for this type of boot.

I bought these in the fall and have now had them for 7 months. Boots have proven to be extremely comfortable for daily long walks (2-4miles) with my dog and hiking also. Initially I wore them everyday through the winter season because they proved to be waterproof and well insulated against the cold, snow and rain. I bought boots a size larger than my normal because I wanted to add my own walking insoles for extra comfort and combat recurring plantar fasciitis. This worked almost perfectly - the boot size was a bit too large but added insole made walking very comfortable. In retrospect, the boots did not need an extra insole, comfortable as is! But I'll keep extra padding for the long walks and my recurring plantar fasciitis. Highly recommend this particular boot and brand!

I liked that the soles had a 6mo warranty, I’m a big person and I’ve wore similar style boots from brama $39 to $180 red wings... after about 30 days I’d have to throw them away, soles would be shot and start hurting my back... I’m happy to say black hammer is a good quality footwear and the soles are lasting 4 months .... not really up to the 6 mo and I haven’t tested there warranty... but for $49 I can wear 3 or 4 pairs of boots a year for the price of one pair brand name boots that only last a month.

I hope this nice set of hearty footwear lasts! The last set I purchased (I forget the name, but it was not Black Hammer) started leaking and falling apart way too soon - probably within a few months. These boots are really nice. They keep my feet dry while working in wet grass and they also protect my feet and ankles from my frequent errant weed trimmer moves.Glad to have these.

Husband is hard on boots. We've had every brand from Red Wings to Academy and others, when I bought these and he tried them on, they fit like a glove. He's been wearing them a couple of weeks and still loves them. They hold up well and remain waterproof even when we get sudden thunderstorms here in TX and he works outside, his feet stay dry and they are pretty lightweight. A++++++

I really like these boots. Very well constructed and durable so far. I did add some sole inserts for better support, but I am 6'5, 230, and need it for my back. They seem to be fairly waterproof, but I haven't really walked through any deep puddles yet either. Overall, very pleased.

..to the point where it hits the top of your foot. It's quite painful to walk with. I'm size 14 though, so your size might be different.However, the shoe is very well-built. I'd give it a try you can always return it. Just a heads up.

It’s a beautiful well made boots highly recommend I just purchase one pair about a week ago did have a little problems with the boots water filter and my feet got wet I reach out to the manufacturer they was able to replace it right away it could be manufactured defects witch is normal it could happen to anybody other then that is great pairs of boots just replaced the inner sole and your go to go
