I love these carriers. I bought one for each cat, as ours were old, mismatched, and some had broken door clasps.We have used them twice now during tornado warnings, as we have two cats we keep in a separate area of the house because they don’t get along with the rest of the cats.We simply put both cats in the carriers through the top openings, and they did not struggle at all, unlike with the old plastic ones. They were easy to carry, and I love the shoulder strap. Once we were all in the basement, we just set them to the side, and even with the other cats roaming around, they were calm the entire time.If I remember, I spray the fuzzy bottoms with Feliway spray, and I think that helps, but the time I forgot they were still calm while being put in, and during the time they spent in there (which is not usually the case!). If they were going to be in there for a longer length of time, I would add a small blanket. I saw a review that recommended wrapping the base with a waterproof pad, and thought that was brilliant. I would probably do that too, just in case.My daughter’s cat is almost 15 pounds, and although technically within the weight limit, it is clear he would not fit comfortably inside the small carrier. She already has a large, newer carrier for him, so he did not need one, which means I can’t comment on the larger size, but if your pet is near the weight limit, you may want to consider sizing up.In summary, these worked great with two feisty little hard to crate kitties (I was seriously amazed both times), and they were calm the entire time they spent in them. I initially only bought a couple to replace worn out old ones, but ended up buying one for each cat after I got them, because I liked them so much. I don’t care about color, and ordered whatever was cheapest from Amazon Resale, so we have a rainbow of colors, but they are all nice, exactly like the pictures, and it will make it easier to keep track of who is where.

I opened the package the carrier came in and put the bottom in it , it seems very sturdy. I set it on the floor and two minutes later I saw my kitty go in and make herself right at home for the next half an hour.I bought this soft sided carrier because the hard carrier has gotten so difficult for me to carry with only a top handle.This carrier is so much more comfortable for my cat and me. She is 11 lbs and it is very roomy. She and I went to the vet a couple of days later and it worked great but I feel like the smaller one may be a better fit. I need to order another carrier for my other kitty also 11lbs and I am going to order the smaller one for that kitty. I will keep you posted!

Great carrier! Seems to be sturdy & secure.Just arrived yesterday and haven’t used it yet but it is obviously much better than our old hard side crate that the locking mechanism was not trustworthy! Will be using it in a few days for a return vet trip.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Pick this one based off price and functionality. Fits my 16lb adult cat comfy and kitten, will be using it soon for a vet appointment. Not disappointed yet

Excellent quality! I love that it has doors on both ends, as well as the top. The inside padding is removable for washing. There are plenty of mesh windows for my kitty to look out of. The strap is padded and comfortable. There is a pocket on the side. The purple color is a vibrant purple. All in all, it's a great carrier.

Was looking for a good carrier for my new kitten and found this carrier and was excited to try it out! My kitten loved it! I think the quality is perfect for the price that it is and the padding on the bottom was a great addition. I do wish it was more attached, but also like that it’s removable if I need to clean it. I did put a towel in the bottom to make it easier if she were to make a mess (poop, pee). But either way I highly recommend this carrier for kittys!

I love this carrier. My dog is under 6lbs and fits perfectly in here with room to turn around, lay down and stretch out. The carrier is well and light weight. I’m very happy with my purchase.

5/5 TSA approved AMERICAN Airlines for sure . Just wish it had privacy flaps but oh well I'd buy again . It's very sturdy and lightweight .
