Recycled Bicycle Tubes Dashboard Handlebar Bag by Green Guru Gear

We just did a 5-day loaded bike-touring trip, and this bag was our navigator's first choice for his map/Jolly Rancher bag. He was the stoker on our tandem, which meant we couldn't mount the bag quite like they intended - it uses three velcro straps, two for the handlebars, and one for the stem. We just had it on the two handlebar straps, so it could swing a bit, but that worked fine.It's clearly made from bike inner-tubes, but not any inner-tubes I've ever used - these are thicker and sturdier than usual tubes. That makes it waterproof except for the zipper closure and seams. So you wouldn't want to toss it in a river, but we got rained on a good bit early on our trip, and it kept everything dry. Even our map in the map pocket stayed dry.(BTW, as I'm writing this, the picture for the bag is the wrong bag. If you look for "green guru", in the listing of all their products the picture you see is the right one, but the picture on this page is for the seat bag.)

I did not realize it was for the top of the handlebar. I was looking for something dropping over the bar to the front. I found a great substitute bag on line. Also, this seemed a bit heavy. And it was a bit larger than I was looking for. Returned it.

We tried several different bike bags for our bikes. This is the one we ended up with for my wife (30's). Its very durable and the clear pouch on top is a nice touch. Very easy to attach and is very secure.

not too big or small. i can get my inhaler, cell phone, biking shortsin this bag. it never gets in the way. i need one for all 3 of my bikes
