The lights ate easy to install. The brightness of the 2 I installed seem to differ and may be related to the batteries used.The lights were installed in a wall cabinet where we store spices and needed additional light. The motion detector works as expected.I mentioned the different amount light provided by the two light bars being at different levels. I used a national brand which is brighter and Amazon batteries which is not as bright. Both sets of batteries were new out of the box and recently purchased. The national brand powered light is is significantly brighter than the Amazon brand.

So I'm an Energy Miser, I actually track my kilowatt hours each month on my bill. I live on a farm in a remote area so unless I have the lights on OR there's a full moon it's totally pitch dark at night, no street lights or ambient light. These lil rascals are SUPER-easy to install, just make sure the surface you're attaching them is perfectly clean & bone-dry. If you're not 100% sure of the "stick-ability" of the surface, use a fine grit sandpaper to prepare the surface for the adhesive pad to adhere to, being sure to wipe away any dust from sanding before you attempt to attach it. I used them under my kitchen cabinet and in both bathrooms under the vanity cabinet edge proximal to the toilets. I also put one above a door in a hallway that's very dark at night & has no outlets near it. Now I don't need to turn the lights on at all during the night! The lights are very bight but depending on how often you're going in/out, you can expect the light to dim gradually over the period of a month/6 wks or so. I buy bulk batts on that well-known e-auction site online :) & they're WAY cheaper than paying for electricity & kilowatt hours. I LOVE that they motion-sense but how sensitive that is will depend entirely on your placement of them. Try to put them where they don't come on until you're right next to them, will save your batteries. I love these little buggers so much that I'm buying some for my soon-to-be Grandbaby's Nursery, will help them see at night to care for Baby without turning on a lamp or overhead light. Super energy-efficient, cheap & a great addition to any home or office space. Winnah-winnah, chicken dinnah!

My daughter gave us one of these LED Motion Sensor Closet lights and we loved it so much that we bought this pack of 4 for our other closets. I've always hated how most of our small closets are so dark, especially my dark cherry boudoir closet in our bedroom. Lining the inside with white paper wasn't enough--I still had trouble finding the blouse I wanted because it was so dark inside. These lights are great. They turn on and off automatically. They'll even go off automatically when I accidentally leave the boudoir door cracked open.I also want to put one in our laundry room because that's the main way we enter and exit our house. However, the light switch in the laundry room is in an odd spot and is hard to find in the dark so we've often left the laundry room light on all the time when we're away, a waste of electricity. This wireless battery light will solve that problem.Regarding reliability? I can't speak for battery life except to say that all 4 of the lights in this pack have worked reliably for the 2 months since we first put them up. This includes the one in our sliding-door non-walk-in closet. The light goes on when we open the closet door and goes off on its own after a couple of minutes. It really makes a difference in terms of what you can see. It's so nice being able to see what's in the closets for a change. I had resorted to using a flashlight. I won't have to do that any more. Recommend to those who have dark closets.

Hi. I'm a recent customer. Initially I had the same frustration as voiced by another purchaser about motion sensors not being responsive. As a former Navy electronic technician, I presumed the electronics to be bad. I ordered a replacement set. The replacement set produced similar results so that kicked in some troubleshooting. Two observations have totally changed my view of this product (to VERY POSITIVE).1. As noted in a previous comment by Paul B. Ciaccio, these lights are not only motion sensitive, but they are also light sensitive. If there is enough ambient life present, the light will not come on to preserve battery life.2. The IC chips in the these lights employ a bit of AI as they must "learn" their environment. I observed that after 2 or 3 resets of the battery door (after putting the batteries in initially) and then mounting the light where I needed it, the device quickly "learned" to respond to nearby motion and worked as expected. We ended up keeping BOTH sets (Original and Replacement) and may order more in the future! We are currently using these in our RV Camper and they work perfectly, especially inside storage areas, cabinets and closets where camper lighting is typically not installed. After the "burn in learning period" discovery, we now consider these an excellent product and highly recommended (with caveats noted). Thanks! Bill S

Good product and great service. Unfortunately I had to return them. That was easy process as well. Great company. They would be great for somewhere not in the open such as a closet. I wanted them for under the cabinets in my kitchen and would prefer one with an on off switch. The batteries were dead in a few days from them turning on and off when ever I walked by. Also they would turn off every 30 -60 seconds or so with out a good amount of motion and I would have to move my hand near it to start it again.

I installed one of this motion lights in a big corner of my kitchen cabinet where a circulate tray usually install and is a darkest place in the cabinet. It looks nice and I like it very much except sometimes, the cap to close batteries is not tight enough, the batteries loose and light is not on, so I have to close a again firmly and it on again. After all, everything is OK.
