Stick with Garmin and don't buy generic.
I'm willing to take partial blame for the poor review due to the fact that I wasn't paying attention when I made this purchase and I accidentally purchased a generic product and not the name brand bands from Garmin. The Garmin band that came with my Vivofit has never fallen off... The same cannot be said about the Amababa band. It repeatedly falls off all day. I'm absolutely amazed that I haven't lost it yet. I even went ahead and spent the extra money to buy the "The Friendly Swede Silicone Fasteners for Garmin Vivofit Wristband (12 Pack)", but these only slightly lesson the possibility of it falling off. Meaning now it falls off 2-3 times a day, no exaggeration. The reason why the Friendly Swede Fasteners only slightly work is because they are not tight enough on the band and freely slide around. The original Garmin Vivofit bands had the same customer complaints of falling off, but Garmin has since remedied this by improving the fasteners and including the little fastener retention bands. The primary difference that I see between the Garmin bands and the Amababa bands is that Garmin's come with the fastener retention band and the Amababa bands do not. This means you then spend even more money buying the Friendly Swede Fasteners that are actually too loose, so now you're stuck with two products that look great, but really aren't. This should be a one star rating, but I gave it two stars simply because I blame myself for not paying attention when I made my purchase. Hopefully my mistake will help others save some money.
