SO WORTH THE MONEY!!!
I bought this because my black lab puppy can play fetch all day long. At first he didn’t know what to think, but at least my German Shepard figured out how to play with it within the first five minutes of getting it out of the box. We’ve had this for about 4 months and my black lab finally plays with it by himself for hours! It’s amazing and has an awesome battery life! Both dogs get so excited when I put it out for them.

iDogmateThe WORST Amazon purchase EVER
The media could not be loaded. Since 2002 I've purchased at least 1,000 items. I've returned a few. But in 18 years I don't ever remember writing a review before.I first purchased this item in June. It seemed fine, charged well, and my only complaint would have been that it didn't shoot the ball much further than 15-20 feet. My dog LOVED it. She quickly figured out how to put the ball in herself and was self sufficient. But, after only a couple dozen throws, the motor wouldn't disengage (the motor is supposed to only run when it senses a ball in the chamber, then shuts down after it is shot). I called Support and was directed to disassemble the machine and apply some troubleshooting, but this didn't work. I returned it and ordered a replacement. After almost 3 weeks the replacement arrived and the same exact thing happened. I contacted Support and they said to return it and they would ship a new one. I asked why they thought the third one would work, and this was their reply:"it would not happen again, because the delivery cost is $120+ to you in this order, unless we will kill ourselves to expense all for delivery and keep customer disappointed. clearly it is not our purpose, we will double check and study this case in our side in case of anything again, and take business seriously as always."The third one arrived after two weeks. This time it lasted for 3 or 4 days until an entirely different issue occurred. This time, the arm that pushes the ball into the chamber to be launched seized. So, again, I packed it back up and delivered it to UPS. Only because my dog LOVED the thing so much did I even entertain the idea of getting a FOURTH one. Well, until I received this email:"I have received your first return, the machine has no problem as you mentioned, pls do and why you return it to us to waste our money. It has used very dirty, not only few days. I have asked your to send us a video, why you take our machine by yourself, we are not happy with your action. Thanks with Regards Laxmmi After Service"For the record, I did send them video, at least three. And not even the idea that I'd been exceedingly patient and understanding for nearly two months with a $200+ purchase, and the audacity of this business assigning me homework on top of everything else made me as indignant as the comment "we are not happy with your action."Well, guess what, I'm not happy with their action either and I hope it results in no one ever buying another one of these terrible quality devices from this even more terrible company.

Pretty good
The launcher works as described but as others have said once the ball gets wet the distance suffers tremendously. That’s kind of expected though due to the way it’s designed, I mean come on what do you expect. I just bought a bag of tennis balls and just rotate them through usually by the time I get done with the bag my GSD is wore out. I don’t know if the company looks at these reviews but some sorts of little spikes on the spinning wheels would probity eliminate this.

My dog loves this! But not enough launch power
My dog loves this! But most times he's just frustrated with the launch. This is an ingenious idea and would be amazing product if it performed just a little better in its launch power. It's a bit too weak, the launching power could and should be improved, it simply lacks enough power to launch a ball very far, especially for large breeds and that makes it not worth the $200.00 price tag. Way too spendy for what I think under performs on power.Another problem with not enough launch power is when ball gets just slightly wet from dog's mouth, which doesn't take long, it will hardly launch out at all so you need plenty of balls to keep replacing wet ones frequently with a dry ball. If launch power wasn't a bit low to start, then a little dog saliva wouldn't be a problem. It's a dog toy, dog saliva shouldn't be a problem or affect performance. Otherwise it's great, my dog would play with this for hours if it had more a bit more "oompf" but it being a bit weak on launch power doesn't quite satisfy his play drive, and since that's the whole point of the machine I'd say it falls short of it's intended purpose, slightly disappoints on performance and at $200.00 for a dog toy it totally fails expectation, it just doesn't deliver what a $200.00 price tag should.Drop the price by $75.00 or improve launch power and it would be more than worth it, as much as my dog loves this and would play and entertain himself when we can't if it had better launch power, it's just not worth $200.00.

My dog loves it
It works as advertised, my lab thinks it’s the greatest thing since sliced rawhide. When the tennis balls get wet it won’t launch them as far but that’s pretty understandable. Dry tennis balls will go 30-40 feet, more if you aim the launcher up a little. Very happy with this product!
