Wish my garage door opener hadn't died and was compatible with this

I had the old keypad for 35 years. The new one is exactly like the old one, so it was easy to install. My only criticism is that it came with no instructions. Luckily, someone had responded to one of the question here on Amazon and told how to set the code using the “Set” switch inside the control box. After that it couldn’t be any easier. Works great now.

This was a perfect replacement for the 35 year old garage door opener that we have. The opener still works like a champ, they made stuff well back then. Just plugged right in, didn’t even have to reprogram it- the same old code worked.

This garage door opener works great for a cold environment, like ski condo or home, since there is no battery in the unit.

Easy plug and play! Only draw back no instructions on how to program , but internet took care of that. Good value for the money saved replacing older working garage door opener with a new one!

These are easy to replace. Ours stopped working after many years of service. I am glad I could purchase just the keypad instead of the whole kit.

I found this old model Genie keypad on Amazon when my garage door repair man said I'd never find one!
