We bought this specifically for the jump start capabilities. We have multiple cars and often have a dead battery in. We have a large battery charger but really liked the idea of the portability of this. 2 days after it arrived we had a dead battery. Unfortunately it didn't work. We had to break out the big one to get it started.A few days later, another dead battery. Same thing, it just wouldn't work for jumping the battery. We researched for more details on how to use it assuming now that it was user error. We discovered there is a little button on the jumper cable attachment you have to press. So we did that. Still didn't work. I decided to try one more time before returning it and really pressed hard to make sure the cable was connected securely and also pressed....and this time held.....the little button. That's when I had a heart attack because it worked. It also set off my alarm which I wasn't expecting because I just knew it wasn't going to work again. That's where the heart attack came in. It's really unfortunate we weren't making a video because I literally jumped 2 feet in a single bound when that horn sounded. So there you have it. This is something everyone should have in their car.My husband was a skeptic until he used it and he was really impressed!
