I wanted an expansion gate in black and this fitted the bill for my stairs, sturdy and good fit. I particularly liked the sliding locking mechanism over other brands where you have to lift up.Wouldn’t hesitate to order another should I require one.

Nice to have a metal gate rather than a plastic one. We have two of these, they look much better!Easy to install, instructions were great. The gates open and close well every time - as long as you adjust the fixings properly, the closing mechanism holds it securely shut. Easy one-handed open which is great when carrying a baby!I believe there is also a y-spindle available for this gate - we didn’t end up needing it, but that’s useful if you have round bannisters (for example)

Is a good product....easy to fix.

Excellent product fitted the wider doors I have due to living in sheltered apartments for wheelchair access. Easy to assemble and excellent quality of produce and so easy to assemble. The opening of the door system is very secure keeping my furbaby safe behind the gate but complex and sturdy do I can leave my apartment door to the corridor open so she can still people watch but I am no longer concerned of her escaping from the apartment. It looks and is top quality at the price it was an excellent purchase which I would highly recommend to any body for a child or a pet and it arrived the very next day as promised

Bought for my autistic child. Work great, fit great and not easily moved

The mechanism isn't strong enough and can be forced open, which is a major safety concern if it is being used at the top of the stairs.

I was bit afraid when I unboxed the item, because as you can see on the picture the locks are not connecting. I did try it anyway before complaining and when it was in the door frame I could close the gate. However we have to lift the middle to be able to open it as it was very tightly put in to make the locking system work. Anyway I used some cellotape on the bottom lock and also on one of the upper lock(there is 2 on the upper side) and now it is only gently locking, easy to open-close and not loud. We use it to prevent the cats from entering the room as baby is almost here. Luckily it does the job as cats didn't dare to jump over and their head is too big to fit through the bars...So overall quite happy with the result.I aslo installed it by myself being 9 months pregnant and it didn't take longer than 20-30 minutes ;)For now I used it without the extension, we will use that when the gate will be on the top of the stairs.

La compré para separar los espacios pasillo y habitaciones del salón ya que tengo una perra cachorro pastor belga Milinoise y 3 gatos y para que se fuesen acostumbrando a convivir y ella jugando no les hiciese daño o simplemente para cuando está muy acelerada que tenga su espacio y va genial... Es resistente a las mordeduras , cómoda y fácil de abrir y sobretodo de instalar ...

Les barreaux de la barrière ne sont pas soudés droits. De ce fait, nous ne pouvons pas fermer la barrière (écart entre le montant et l’ouvrant de plus de 2cm…). Très déçus de ce produit!

We bought this item to keep our dog inside when we want to have the backdoor open. Works like a charm! Easy to set up, have been using it fo a while now.
