Loving this series!
I have read the first two books and glad I'm reading them in order. This is a book that really has everything in it...sizzling dark romances that are a enemies to friends vibe..very hot rugged guys who are not a typical hero type.. The hottest sex between the couples.. This book was different than the others because Jonathan rescued Beth from these very evil slave traders by buying her at an auction. The cast of characters from the previous books are in the book and new women are brought in. I really liked Jonathan because he's a tough guy with a warm soul..Beth is from a home that she has no freedom in...She is a strong young woman who has been treated horribly but still has an innocence to her and Jonathan sees it immediately! All ends well and the ending smoothly leads us into the next book.. Well written quick reads that are full of content and has great character development... I'm off to the next book!

Third times the charm
For me, Buying Beth is where the series starts to shine. Lily and Amy are good, but Beth is a heroine I could root for and Jonathon quickly became my favorite Disciple. It was a nice change that they had a moment together before things hit the fan and it wasn't just, I want her, I think I'll keep her right out of the gate. Beth chose him. Jonathon rescuing Beth from the auction and his care with Charlie softened his sharp edges and really showed that while the guys might be crazy and ruthless, there's more to them than murder and mayhem. Him helping Beth get her vengeance was spot on.

Good
Wow! This one was dark. What Beth had to go through. And she was the lucky one. Still fun to see another one of thenguys going down. Johnathan taunting James that he is next is fun.

Intense Read
A dark disturbing read of human sex trafficking, romance and righteous triumph with occasional appearances of past characters that are always pleasing to read about when interacting with the new characters this story is centered around. I always appreciate the different character perspectives, it makes getting to know them and understanding their journey so much more personal. The themes that happen in this book are very triggering for any reader who is sensitive to emotional, verbal and sexual assaults, read with caution.Beth is a trapped bird in a gilded cage, with no freedom to think for herself or live her truth, locked away from society until when necessary to be exhibited. In a moment of rebellion Beth sneaks away from her prison for a night out with her privileged friends in an out of the way bar to escape prying eyes, with the evening starting out friendly and innocently enough until they are kidnapped and thrust into the darker world of crime, corruption and death.Johnathan is a dominate no nonsense man who does his job of assassinating well, loyal to the family that have claimed him Johnathan seeks his refuge not in the false appearance they are all meant to kept but his private neutral oasis. When Johnathan’s oasis is violated and his affection stolen, vengeance and retribution is demanded. The romance between Johnathan and Beth is undeniable and swoon worthy, a true Prince and Princess fairy tale feel with all the sinful delights of acceptance and surrender in the most satisfying way.The supporting characters are all amusing with the fun occasional appearance of previous characters, and the promise of some hopeful future candidates and their insta-families.

This series just keeps getting better and better! I LOVE how the characters from the previous books keep developing as new characters emerge. I wish this series would go on past the 6 books

Dark, Gritty and Intense!
“Buying Beth” is a dark, gritty, intense roller-coaster ride and I did not want this ride to end! Professionally written and incredibly fast paced, “Buying Beth” portrays a shadowy criminal underworld from the perspective of an antihero as well as the extremely resilient young woman who falls in love with him. Set within a city riddled with corruption, various criminal factions compete for territory as well as total and complete citywide dominance. Although Lucifer’s (mob boss) men are no angels, they are a cut above the rest, protecting women and children from far more unsavory elements. The characterizations are in-depth featuring an intelligent, independent heroine and a totally hot, protective antihero who finds his heart in a little boy’s fear and a courageous young woman’s love. “Buying Beth” also offers up plenty of intense heat to keep readers warm during cold winter nights. Characters from previous novels make brief appearances but “Buying Beth” is an entirely standalone novel. Those who appreciate dark, intense reads filled with suspense will thoroughly enjoy “Buying Beth”!Children 18+ only due to very graphic violence and sexual content.Disclaimer: No Kindles were seriously harmed while reading this novel.Disclaimer for the Disclaimer… The term “seriously harmed” is not intended to include: overheating, scorch marks, minor melting or inconsequential fire that can be put out with an extinguisher. Buying and keeping Beth!
I have never read anything by these authors, so I thought I’d give it a go! I haven’t read the first two books but now that I’ve finished this one, it’s definitely my plan to read them! Beth is the daughter of a Senator and her life is pretty much controlled by her father completely. Her friends and her decide to go to a dive bar so that they can have some drinks while Beth’s father is out of town - however, the evening ends with them all being kidnapped. Johnathan is the dive bar owner and he connected with Beth and when he discovers she’s been kidnapped, he starts pulling the right strings to get her back. Once he does though, he’s decided he’s keeping her!A good read, loved the back and forth banter between the characters and waiting with bated breath for the next story - maybe Simon and Meredith!?!

Chemistry & Banter
Buying Beth is another great story from Izzy Sweet & Sean Moriarty. Loved the chemistry & banter between Jonathan & Beth. The story / plot did not disappoint. There were plenty of action, awesome hot passion and the characters keep developing...can't wait to read Simon's story

Insta love dark romance
3 starsI enjoyed this book, however it was a little to instalove for me.The characters were all well written and interesting. The drama very real and easy to picture. I enjoyed our anti hero and his strong personality. However I struggled to believe our heroine would fall in love so quickly.I would definitely have liked this story to be stretched out a little with a little more character building on her side.

I am hooked on the series 😍
Anither awesome story for the series. It was angsty, edgy and delicious. I hope the authors will sell the series as one book so that I can buy it. Thank you for putting your stories on KU 😍

Another great book in this series!
I am loving the Disciples series. This is the third book and it centres around Johnathon and Beth. Beth was kidnapped along with her friends by Russian human traffickers. Jonathan saves Beth but wants to keep her for himself. Cue some hot and steamy scenes. You could read this book as a standalone but I would highly recommend reading the previous two books first. I really want Simon and James to have their own stories next.
