OPERATIOR ERROR I failed to follow written instructions to hold button down for 2 secs to turn on. My fault, SORRY. Perfect form factor. Everything fits completely inside SLEEK metal tube about 6” long x about 3/4” in diameter - even the phone clamp. STURDY, phone clamp is strong and extension rods appear to be very strong and WELL ENGINEERED.### My ERRONEOUS original review said: Very lightly used since purchase. Probably took no more than 30 photos before it suddenly stopped working on me wile I was using it. I figured the battery died and purchased new ones. They didn't provide any solution. Then I tested the original battery and it tested just fine! Unit has NOT been subject to ANY heavy use or treatment, much less any actual ABUSE.Won't connect via bluetooth anymore. Earlier, the little LED lit up signaling it was connected, and it worked perfectly with my iPhone. Now, my phone can't find a signal from it.When it worked, it was IDEAL! I'm really bummed out by its failure. It is tiny, slim and a neat package when closed. What a loss! ###.I admit I screwed up. Forgetting that I had to hold down the power switch for 2 seconds to turn the unit on was all my faucet. This unit is the best in terms of simplicity, closed-up form factor, price and functionality. The extended length is not the longest but it is good enough for me when combined with all other considerations.

Tried another stick and sent it back. This selfie stick just works. It’s simple. It doesn’t pivot, turn or do cartwheels, it holds your phone, it extends your reach, and it tilts enough to take that selfie you want. Or, in my case, take a photo of the cat hiding under the bed so I don’t have to get down on my (achy) knees to search for her.Pairing was a snap and, so far, battery life is very good. It even comes with a spare battery!!

Works great. I had a problem pairing, but it turned out to be a problem with my phone, not the selfie stick. The company contacted me and was very helpful. My only slight gripe is the use of CR16 button batteries, but I guess that's how they get it so small and light. I ordered a 15-pack of PowerOwl batteries for six bucks. That should take a lot of selfies :)

My daughter wanted the smallest practical selfie stick, and this one is that: just the length you need, in the smallest possible folded package.Very practical, works well.Bluetooth remote works fine.Since there isn't a tripod function, the remote is built-in, so even more streamlined and can't fall off.After a month, we've observed two downsides:It's not practical to shoot a vertical portrait photo: there's no rotation in the holder, only tilt.Turns out that's a fairly big deal.My daughter thought she would never need the tripod function and preferred the smallest handheld stick possible instead. But turns out there are times where a tripod would have been needed after all, which this model doesn't do.
