This works well. I tested it by taking down a small tree. It was about 7” round. Not optimal, but doable.The kydex sheath is alright. I feel that heating it up, for a better fit, would be better than the floppy snaps/stap.

Its razor sharp super strong solid one piece hardened steel. It feels ergonomically perfect in your hand its well balanced. I used the crap out of it and it still has a razor sharp edge. Great tool, awesome weapon… you might ask yourself what would i need this for and the answer is short, its because im a Man!!! and Men need stuff like this!!! And you ask why?? Just because!! Thats why!! Now go buy it youll be happy you did!

Comes absolutely razzzor sharp. I have axes from RMJ , Swamp rat and a few others that weren't anywhere near this in straight out the box/shop sharpness. I'm not a great fan of the pry bar it's definitely gonna bite me one day in the arm or wrist so I'll most likely chop that off an put a slight chisel or jimping on it and keep the lanyard hole portion. The g10s is nice and grippy and the choke points in the handle are indexed well with a tail grip for chop , medium grip for cutting or up to the head for detail work and fine slicing. I like that the hammer head was removable, and for my purposes I haven't much use for it and set it aside in the box.The only thing i dislike is that the sheath is left handed, it "can" be setup for a righty but you wont have use of the retention straps since the button snaps for them are molded into the left side of the sheath.

Straight out of the packaging, this axe went to work for me! I needed something to attach to my hunting bag and this was perfect! It’s absolutely a multi tool that has came in handy while in the woods. So glad I made this purchase!

I made a few small improvements to make the handle a bit more comfey. I added some type of electrical wrap, followed by tennis racket wrap. Added a lanyard and I took a fine grit diamond sharpener to it followed by a strop. It is a superb chopper and splitter. The hammer head is big enough to actually use it in the woods and the prybar is also good for prying those knotty pieces open. Especially if you put a stick through the otherwise useless hex wrench opening on the head and use it for leverage. My only cons are the lack of a cover for the prybar and not making the hammer head replacable.
