Spent a ton of money on this and the top ...
Spent a ton of money on this and the top output plug to view on a separate monitor never worked from day one. I wanted to be able to have others in the field also be able to view what I saw on a separate monitor but it simply does NOT work. I even took it into the nerds at Radio Shack THREE TIMES and they couldn't get ANYTHING to show up on their monitors or the DVR monitor I brought in. Who cares from FLIR...probably NO One!!

Very impressive for the price, with some limitations
I've used FLIR systems in the military. I thought the Scout II was a big step forward towards an affordable FLIR for civilian use. For my use, on a moving boat at night, the refresh rate wasn't fast enough. I would also like more magnification, which is available on the higher priced models.
