Got this because my son's Scout Troop uses them.
I'm Scoutmaster of the my son's Scouts BSA troop and when we joined the troop had an earlier version of these lamps. We just replaced those with this newer version (years of heavy use by teenagers and then sitting in a trailer for most of a year due to COVID wore the old ones out). I used one for a week long summer camp this year and not only did it provide good light, show me the time and temp, it also charged my phone several time before it needed recharging. When I got home from camp, I decided to get one for myself, and I'll probably get one for my son for Christmas. I have a lighter weight lamp that is rechargeable and claims to be able to charge a phone, but it's not well made IMO, it seems flimsy. My son used it on a Philmont trip and he said it was good for light but didn't charge his phone well (he used the phone to take pictures). This version is heavy compared to that and I'm sure there are some who would argue that for a long haul hike or a trek like my son did at Philmont it would be too much, but I think the added weight would be worth it as this model is build well, and holds a charge for a long time. I wouldn't worrying about it if it got dropped or something heavy dropped on it. Features I like: 1. You can adjust the brightness up or down. 2. Phone charging port. 3. The red and red flashing light. I can see using a few of these in a car's emergency kit to let people know you are broken down at night. 4. Time and temp on the LED display. 5. Long battery life.Cons: The only way to set this on a table is by setting it light down or on it's side. It would be nice to have the bottom flat with a removable clip to hang it with. This version pretty much is designed to be hung up.

Bright enough to annoy my cat, but not particularly impressive.
It's fairly bright. Though not anything incredible, it's more than enough light to continue the party late into the night. It works. It's dimmable. It's a higher capacity than my old one. It's not "light weight" and it's rather bulky compared to other designs but that may just be due to the battery size - it's still more light in a smaller package than the old school lanterns. It has a clock on it as well.Battery life on USB output tested to just under 2/3 of rated capacity, however the light still actually runs for a while after the fact so the true capacity is somewhere between 10000mah and the claimed 15000mah.If the ratings are correct than it should still run for ~10 hours on high brightness with 1/3 of its capacity remaining, however I can't be bothered to try and test that as it would require frequently checking on it.I suspect it's designed to cut the usb output before the unit is totally dead to continue to be used as a light while you go plug it in or whatever. In light of that functionality, I'll call that a feature, since that is it's primary purpose.43.6wh usable at the usb output with more in reserve for the light itself, and I'm typing this out by the light of it right now after having tested it until the usb output shut off and the screen is flashing for low battery. For reference the S20 Ultra battery capacity is only about 19wh, so accounting for running use it should be able to charge my phone at least twice. So far it's been on high brightness for about 30 minutes after running the capacity test, so you'll have at least that much extra time to pack up or find your backup light before it gets dark.Edit: the light ran for several hours even after the low battery warning came on, however the brightness slowly dimmed over time. I'm now fairly confident the battery is in fact very close to its rating. Changed to 5 stars for that. The SOS strobe is a nice touch. Hopefully I never need it.

I love it
I bought an older version of this light in 2020, which has a micro-USB port for charging instead of USB-C, but should be otherwise identical. It works great, I love that it has the separate backlit clock function and especially the temperature (nice to know just how cold it is when camping!). The warm light mode is excellent and easy on the eyes. I've used it for a handful of power outages and camping trips and it's been super useful. Seems well made, I try not to abuse it but it's held up fine over almost 3 years. If I'm really reaching for a critique, it would be that with this design, you can't just plop it on a table to light up the surface/what's on it. It's designed to hang, so if you don't have a good spot near the table to hang it, you have to lean it on its side or just put up with way less light. I wouldn't say this detracts from the product - a light designed for standing on the table is going to have a completely different design that may limit it in other ways.Completely satisfied with the purchase and am considering buying an extra to have on hand. The USB-C port upgrade would be nice, though it appears to be charge-only, rather than in/out like the true spec supports.
