Not a quick fix.
My vent screen got torn and my repairs were not lasting very long so I ordered this item thinking that I could replace the unit from the inside of the camper. No way! I would have to go on the roof and remove and replace the whole vent unit and go through the entire waterproofing process.I cut out the screen, put on a full surround of clear silicone sealer and pressed the screen into place. Doesn’t look bad and no bugs can get in. I chose to cut out and use the vent screen rather than a hardware store screen because the vent screen has the handle hole reinforced and looks good.

Good replacement
This fit my 2002 National Dolphin 6356 perfectly. I DID pay attention to the reviews that mentioned 3 1/2 inch spacing from the edge for the crank hole. This was a perfect fit to replace my old screen that had busted mounting screw holes.

Replaced my old, cracking, screen
My old screen was falling apart and the fan was rubbing against it, making it very noisy. I ended up replacing the screen, garnish, fan, seal, and lid. These are inexpensive parts and easy to replace. The thing to remember is to take your time and pay attention to how it all came apart. Now vent opens and closes easily and fan is much quieter! Good luck!

Does not fit the vent it is supposed to fit
This does NOT fit most of the Ventline vents that it is designed to fit. Other reviewers mentioned this issue, but silly me did not read the reviews before ordering. Normally this would not be an issue with Amazon's excellent return options for Prime members, but apparently since this was somehow purchased from Purely Power Sports instead of the other vendors of this product, I will not only have to eat the almost $9US in shipping they charged me, but I would also have to pay for return shipping - all together unacceptable to pay more for round trip shipping than what it is worth. No wonder Purely Power Sports has such a terrible rating on Amazon. They are buckeyes, which are also known as worthless nuts.
