MAHLEOC 711 Oil Filter

This is a quality filter. I prefer it over most other brands.

These are trash covered with grease and and dirt where filter and gasket meet. I happen to notice because never used these filters in the past.Look inside to see construction of filter and saw some kind of particles not sure what. Checked construction and saw bad flowed glue on cap to filter.I then used a clean rag and alcohol cleaned top and found dirt and grease not talking about a small amount. I was shocked at the poor quality however made in Mexico not Germany. On you tube video's filter was shown to be well constructed and impressed by quality. In defense checked Fram filters and had the same grease and dirt on top of filter been using these for years and was scared at what I had been putting on my expensive engine. Not going to return just trash.

Mahle is typically for European made vehicles, it is a good fitting filter, strong metal canister.

These are made in China, they switched. I purchased this filter in April and it was made in Austria and now in December it’s made in China. I just can't use it or take a chance on a performance motor, I decided to trash it, I found a filter made in the U.S.A!

item arrive on time and fit perfectly my Nissan quest 2004, I have been using Mahle products for the last 20 years and they never fail.

Best filters with well functioning valve. Worth every cent...

It's a taller version of the same Nissan filter(Nissan has 2 versions). Good-has bit more filtration media. Bad-it is an extremely tight squeeze if you have oil cooler lines in your way(aftermarket). In this case stick to "shorty" version. I recommend double checking if "tall" filter is OK for you particular Nissan/Infiniti.Used on G35 and 370Z
