I bought this thing since my sister and I like to play Switch games in the car. It was annoying constantly trying to balance the console on the center table, so I picked this little guy up. Thankfully, it solves all our problems. Attaching it to the back of the headrest is super simple, as you just clamp it down and tighten it, and you can even use the included little rubber grip for extra tightness. It's also small enough that the person sitting in the seat that this is connected to doesn't feel the clamp on the back and shouldn't be bothered by it. It fits my Switch pretty easily and the rubber grips on the side of the device holder make sure that it doesn't slip out of place. We took a 40-minute long car ride through some of the bumpier streets of town, however my Switch never fell out of it once. All in all, this thing does exactly what it says it does. It is simple, cheap, and works great.

Easy to use and install. If you only have one kid still in a car seat, mount it on the opposite side and tilt it towards them- prevents them from kicking it. Also, you have to make sure that you snap the claw in place. It takes some pressure, but it will click. This ensures it doesn't fall off. You need to make sure that you align it on the headrest poles so the bolts are flat and not at an angle. Tighten just a hair past what you feel it should be and this thing wont move. We only have one kid (for now) and it keeps him entertained and beats the cost of the one offered by the dealer. For those that had issues, follow the above instructions and try again, honest. This is really a great product but like anything, if you aren't careful putting it together calmly, you can break it.

This product is extremely useful to help keep the kids entertained while traveling by car. Both my sons have used it--one to hold his iPhone, and the other to hold his iPad. Both worked with their respective hard and soft cases. I will say that the youngest had a small problem snapping it in place, so little ones might need a little assistance. Once I helped pull the levers apart, it snapped right in. The only bad thing was that this seller limited me to one unit per purchase--which is inconvenient if you have more than one kid and more than one car. I assume that I can sign in again and keep purchasing others at other times, but like I said, it's a hassle. Hopefully, the seller will take away this restriction. It is a solid product that has survived extended adventures and use.

Honestly I was surprised at the quality of the mounts build/construction when it arrived, it's surprisingly very good. The box it arrived in along with the instructions were simple and straight to the point. You really don't need instructions as the product is pretty simple to figure out. The fit and finish looks nice and it feels like it will last quite a while. It holds my 9.7 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 without any issue, no sagging or anything like that. I would not worry about it dropping the tablet as it feels very secure, I trust it. I would recommend this to anyone on the market for a headrest tablet mount, just make sure to take the correct measurements to ensure a proper fit.

The car mount is a great feature for anyone who has kids. I use it for them mainly. It is easy to install to the headrest and can still charge. It does not work on my rear seat head rests, I was intending to use it for my son who sits rear facing. If you're headrest bars are exposed than it should work, mine are covered by the front of the headrest cushion. It still works for the front seats. If I really wanted I could flip my rear headrest and it should work. The spring mechanism that slides in seems fragile but it has not broke or anything like that. I will be getting a 2nd mount soon.

This is exactly what we needed. Easy to put together, though no instructions. You have to unscrew the collar off the back of the holder, slide it onto the piece that connects, then tighten it down. Holds our old Samsung Tab2 in a defender style case just fine, which is heavy. Spring is very tough, tablet doesn't fall out even on bumpy roads. Easy to install, honestly unless you have multiple devices you'll only need one because it goes between vehicles so easily. It also works great as a stand for the tablet on a table or desk. I've told other parents about it. Thanks for a great product!

We took this on a 9 hour car ride, 5 hour car ride and 10 hour car ride. It was perfect. My 2.5 year old and 10 year old were very pleased. I put this on the passenger side and my 2.5 could see perfectly but my 10 year old had to lean a little bit bc the arm wasn’t quite long enough which she was fine with. I would say find something with a longer arm if you want 2 kids to watch from it comfortably. It suited us just fine.
