I, Justine: An Analog Memoir Hardcover – June 2, 2015

I came across Justine's "iJustine" youtube channel looking for a review of the 2018 Macbook Pro i9... I've been watching periodically for about a year... She's commented a few times about being an introvert during her videos and interviews... which one would not suspect watching them. This book is a quick read (I read it cover to cover in 4 hours). It is funny/quirky (like the author) and gives a nice behind the scene portrait of now only how Justine got started, but Youtube as well...Most importantly, her message, which she addresses multiple times throughout the book is "Just be you, worry less about what others think and do what you want to do." My interpretation, rather than a direct quote. I'm not in her typical demographic, but as a High School teacher and coach, this is something I preach and I think Justine did a great job of emphasizing this for her demographic... which she claims are teenage girls for the most part... I would absolutely recommend this book for a kid who doesn't feel like they fit in...

I love Justine and am a loyal viewer. If you watch iJustine videos, or even YouTube videos in general, this will probably be an enjoyable read for you. It's an excellent look at how a platform like YouTube can be a means to build a career and notoriety with some talent, ingenuity, and luck (being in the right place at the right time). If you enjoy YouTube, vlogging, and social media, or are an Apple enthusiast you'll more than likely enjoy this book.

I have been a fan of Justine's for a little over a few months now, only to have discovered her by accident on YouTube after I purchased my MacBook Pro. She has come to make me realize that it is OKAY to be obsessed with technology and gaming (which I was actually afraid to admit because I didn't want to come off as a computer nerd to friends and family...) and that you should always do what makes you feel good and enjoy life to the fullest- even if times get rough. This book was a wonderful little insight into the world of someone I can say has truly inspired me. Thank you so very much iJ. <3

I love ijustine! When I found out she wrote a book, I had to get it. Her memoir was very inciteful on how she become a YouTuber and the person she is today. I love how passionate she is about the things she loves and that family is very important to her.She's one of my favorite YouTubers and I have been watching her videos every since I made my first YouTube account 7 years ago. I look up to her and I found this book very inspiring.I would recommend this book for anyone who is looking to read anything about a YouTuber or is interested in technology.

A wonderful read! This memoir is a fantastic look into the world of the digital age. It showcases one person's personal story of growing up with a fascination of the tech world, and her journey to immerse herself completely in that world. As a fellow tech lover, I responded to this story immediately. It also does a wonderful job of showcasing the transition from childhood to adulthood. If you want an inspiring tale of the pursuit of dreams, and how doing whatever it is you are most passionate about in life can turn into something spectacular, then I, Justine: An Analog Memoir is the book for you!

happy I was actually able to get myself a hard copy of her book, I already read it ages ago digitally first when she released it, now I'm hoping for a greater experience with a touchable thing from her, this shipped fast as well! earlier than estimated! :D

This is a great book about the life of iJustine it keep me intested to continue reading it although i am not a book person. I really enjoyed learning more about her life and how she rose to stardom! The book is made of solid sturdy material and has nice photos throughout.

I've been following Justine's work since the iPhone Bill video in 2007. It was so much fun reading this book and remembering what I was doing and what was happening in my life when each video she wrote about was first posted. There are a few things that happened that she hasn't spoken about until now, so it was cool getting to read about some of the events that were left out of her YouTube videos.

She takes us from the start of her love of tech to the present day, we follow her in ups and downs, bad jobs and great friends, most of the book is filled with a happy outlook on life, some times there seem to be a lot of anger and residual resentment - completely understandable, it's hard to keep a happy outlook on life with death threat and SWAT teams invading your life. Its a good book, worth a read and its nice to support a woman like Justine so she is able to make the world a better place

Enjoyed reading the book, iJustine never gave up during setbacks, I fully recommend this book to all interested in IT.
