Well made, strong and included safety beads
**** This review was written for some hammock-hanging "whoopie slings" but the product ID seems to have changed to some sort of women's clothing accessory. Not sure what happened here. ****I don't think the beads are shown in the picture, but they were on the product, which was nice. They keep you from accidentally pulling too far when they aren't attached to anything and losing the adjustable loops. These significantly cut both the size and weight of the original equipment stiff rope and big steel clips (with sharp edges on the gates) that came on my hammock. I was always worried that the sharp gate edges would damage something (the tree hugger webbing or the hammock itself when it was packed up. I added some left over pieces of fiberglass tent pole (from adjusting the length of a replacement pole) to use for the marlin knot in the tree hugger webbing. The easy adjustability is awesome! The improvement in setup / tear down speed is also impressive.

These are great. I just added them between my carabiner and the rope at the gathered end of my eno hammock. They extend the width of the tree I can tie too and are super lightweight and compact.

Works like a charm, and weigh so little
These are awesome! Check out videos on youtube by looking up "shug" and Hammocks you'll see plenty of his showing you how to use these. They work well. I'm 6'2" and 215# they hold me without a single worry.

Well worth it...very strong
These slings are amazing. Super convenient and they make hammock set up very fast. One of the beads that prevents the sling from tucking into itself broke so I mitigated that by putting on a metal keyring in its place. That might be one area of improvement for the maker of this awesome invention. Just use a metal bead instead of a plastic bead. Or even a nut or washer. Just an idea.

Cheap beads on it.
The slings are awesome. However, the beads that are placed on each loop are crap. Both beads broke off the first day. Now I have to be careful that the loop doesn't get pulled thru accidentally.

Works as advertised!
Being lousy on knot tying and an AT section backpacker, I needed a quick way to set up and adjust my hammock at the end of the day. The Whoopie Sling met this criteria plus it is lightweight. Took a couple of minutes to figure which way to pull but You Tube instructions helped a lot.

So simple, you will insist you missed something.
After using both kinds of ENO Atlas straps for a year, I was looking for a minimalist solution. I like the tech gear, but sometimes, tried and true comes through. This is a "Chinese Finger Trap" kind of device. The loops stay put based on the slack, or tension of the portion that has been cross threaded. It is quite clever, and Amsteel is serious cool material. You could do it yourself, but these guys do it well, and I was happy with mine. My bead broke immediately, like first outing. Not a deal breaker, but if you are going to include it, might as well be worthy of including. I have a nice hammock, I just picked up a bargain "parachute nylon, closed loop" hammock from a local retailer. I am going to replace the cording with the whoopie sling and make it my party hammock. The slings make easy adjustments possible on the fly. There is no better solution.
