The best I've found in ten years
These are the first earplugs I have found that I can comfortably wear all night, and I have been searching for about 10 years. All other plugs make my ears painfully sore, but these cause just a mild irritation and I don't fear I'm doing permanent damage. It turns out that most plugs are too big for my ear canals, but as these are sold as two pairs of different sizes I finally have some that fit. Unlike foam earplugs, you don't need to fiddle around compressing them and waiting for them to expand - you just push them in and they work instantly. They don't protrude much so don't get knocked out when you move, but removing them is easy and painless.Sound reduction is impressive. I have used foam plugs that block sound more completely than these, but they hurt. The Hearproteks let a small amount of sound in but it's rarely enough to wake me up. This may even be an advantage, because complete silence is unnerving and might be dangerous if you can't hear your smoke alarm.Other good points are the reusability and washability.I could criticise them for the high price, and the over-the-top aluminium storage canister and metal carabiner, but if you value your sleep, these are trivial disadvantages. Also, they are made of thin silicone so look as if they could be easily damaged. In summary, I am very impressed.

Worked, with flaws
I wore these to a house/dance/techno festival and could still hear the music, but I left without my ears ringing and felt protected throughout the night (10 hours of heavy bass). However, when my ears became sweatier, I did actually lose one of the plug deep in my ear and had to fish it out with tweezers which was very painful.

They work!
I’ve been looking for decent earplugs for years. Tried these and actually slept like a baby.. it doesn’t block out 100% of noise and that’s perfect as I would like to hear if there was an emergency I needed to know about. It blocked out my dogs snoring and my neighbours tv/music/conversations and anything in between. (we have very thin walls)I did how ever make the mistake of trying the bigger pair first and thought I was going to suck out my eardrum followed by my brain when taking them out, but the smaller pair are comfortable. Just try to remember when you wake up that you have them in and as I forgot and thought I was going deaf for a min 🤦🏼♀️ (yep, true story)

Completely useless
These earplugs provide absolutely no reduction in sound/noise. With them in I could hear absolutely everything as normal. They look great, feel nice & the carrycase is a good idea but the earplugs themselves are completely useless.Would have returned them if not for hygiene aspect.Very very disappointed.
O**!
Not the comfiest set of earplugs...
Very good at blocking sound and partner’s snoring but they’re quite uncomfortable. I will try them again to see if they soften up or my ears get used to them!

First ones I found to be effective
Those are brilliant as not only they keep some noises out, they also stay on all night, which many other ear plugs I had tried before didn't.The advantages:Stay on all nightIf placed properly, they are comfortable for side-sleepersKeep out noises such as neighbour going to the bin at 6am / other neighbour pottering around at 5amKeep most noises out / tone them down (not noises such as techno music - unsure about snoring)The (minor) disadvantages:You need to learn how to adjust them properly for them to be effective (follow instructions)They last around 3 months, after that, they get squashed and need replacing. In each pack, there are two sizes, so every 3 months I found myself with a spare pair I can't do nothing with. Would be more cost effective for everybody to have an option for regular buyers to buy a pack with two pairs of the relevant size.Other than that, they do the trick for me!

Noise very muted and smaller size works perfect for small ears
Needed something to limit the noise of the air conditioning and my friend snoring while staying in a hotel abroad, these worked perfectly. The noise wasn't completely blocked, but would be unreasonable to expect that. It was muted by a lot and allowed me to get a good night's sleep. Pretty comfortable to wear. Also I have small ears and always struggle with in ear headphones and other ear plugs I've tried. The smaller version of these fit perfectly for me, would definitely recommend of you have the same problem!
