Just as described. Satisfied.
Just as described (the dollar is there for scale). Keep in mind they are cardboard so make sure it is being played and stored on a dry surface. They are not laminated so they will get wet. Because they are made in mexico, the cards have writing on them in Spanish only. They were packaged well and were not damaged in transit.

Beautiful Bingo Cards with Cultural Significance
Wonderful product! I will definitely use it for Spanish classroom games. It’s also worth a good cultural lesson. You might want to explain about images such as “El Negrito.” As an African American I was comfortable having those conversations with my Spanish 1 students and different encounters I had in Latin America. You may also want to talk about “La Sirena” (mermaid with nippleless breasts) and “El Borracho” (the drunkard). I’ve taught for 20 years in suburban and inner city settings and never had any backlash with these cards, nor my colleagues of different races. I only mention this because of the era of sensitivity and feminism that we are in (rightfully so in some cases). Just know your audience. If all else fails, cover up the images or discard the cards that use them.

Flimsy and not a whole lot of variety in the cards.
I grew up playing Loteria and can see the issues comparing this to the original game. The cards are incredibly thin and very flexible but if you're careful with them, there should be no issues. The pictures and graphics are great, some misspelling on the back of the cards, but its nothing too bad. There's originally only 10 cards so I bought this because it has 20 and obviously more people can play, HOWEVER, that also means less variety on the cards and you end up having the exact same pictures on the cards. So.. overall, if you are looking for more cards to play with a large family, then yes these are okay but the cards are flimsy and not a whole lot of variety in the cards.

Perfect for up to 20 players!
Authentic Mexican Loteria! Perfect for up to 20! That is if you have 20 players, playing 1 card each. One winner, no duplicate cards unless you need additional cards. I purchased 3 sets. I plan to use at least 50. I will anticipate on having possibly 2-3 winners each round. Each set of 20 Loteria cards also include the deck of cards each with picture and the call out name. No markers, beans, coins included. I purchased rainbow see through circles markers. Each card has 16 slots. Just make sure everyone has enough markers, beans, coins, etc. And when u win yell out “Loteria”

Best Buy for Loteria
I am a Spanish teacher and my students love to play Loteria. I bought two sets of 20. I didn't have time to laminate them yet but I will in order to keep them in good shape. These are nice because la sirena (mermaid) has a little top covering her chest, which the older set didn't have. Keep in mind there is el borracho (the drunk), la botella (a bottle of tequila), el negrito (the black man), la muerte (death), etc. so it's not all PC, but it's authentic and fun! These cards do NOT have the refranes on the back. For example, la bandera (the flag): verde, blanco y colorado, la bandera del soldado. The refranes are great for advanced students, but you can always look them up.

Defective set- no individual rhymes
I ordered this to play with my relatives for an upcoming get together but when I opened the case the cards I got didn’t have the rhymes that go with the picture. I ordered a replacement because I wanted this game, but that one too had the same 4 phrases repeated on the cards. Im in the process of returning both. Not worth it if you don’t know the rhymes by heart then it’s just bingo. I’ll look into getting a better set, hopefully with the rhymes. The cards are cute so if your looking to craft with these, as I’ve seen people do in the pictures then that’s really what they’ll be good for.

Racist
Contains "El Negrito" which is patently offensive. Unfortunately you can't just rip that one up, since it's featured multiple times on the bingo sheets. How this is OK in 2018 is beyond me.

Great set
Great set for a great price! It's rare to find sets with more than 10 game cards so when I found this one I purchased it right away. It's a good set. Very vibrant colors and images. My favorite thing is that it comes with the 20 player cards. That's awesome as we have a large family and now everyone gets to join in on the fun. Very fun game! We play for hours. Perfect for all ages and it's great for entertainment. We love playing this as a family.
