Excellent piece of furniture, I was sceptical after reading some of the reviews and problems people had with assembly, and the time it took to build. All pieces were intact, the instructions were easy to follow and it was assembled within about 1hours 20 mins. It's very sturdy and looks lovely. Very, very pleased.

Price for these varies from £89 up to over £600 by different sellers. Advise not to pay out too much.mine arrived with a damaged drawer bottom and a broken plastic tissue box deco ring. Quality of fixings poor, some rusty. Pre cutouts and screw points all accurate, all parts present. Deco plastic parts naff quality. Some special screws, that join sides together, have no warning about limiting the depth you screw them in; if you’ve built furniture before you’ll already know this. Theres no part number stickers, but using a tape measure with the parts list got me through that. It’s also not clear which way round some things go.Also note that it uses plastic inserts into which you fix long screws. make sure you check the alignment of these as a few were out of true and I nearly brought one screw out through the side. Finished article is heavy but a very useful design and I hope another updated batch is producedNB. In use for a long time now. It remains solid etc but the ONLY thing that continues to annoy me is that the top rotates if you apply pressure. Despite tightening up the knobs, if you apply force it will tip. Maybe change the iffy grip technology to several fixed angles by drilling holes and including a rod.

What can I say - all good, looks good, just the right size, wood excellent well built.only issue it took about 3 hours to put together.

On the unit i received the top swivel support arm is not completely welded but is only SPOT WELDED which is now showing a fracture this mean's that it would be unsafe to place my laptop on the top surface as shown in the advertiser pictures because it may completely break off IT NEED'S A NEW TOP SWIVEL SUPPORT ARM WHICH IS WELDED PROPERLY

Love it! Brilliant if you’re pressed for space. Wasn’t hard to put together but worth taking some time on it. Best thing I’ve bought in ages.

One of the draws does not fit

I have constructed many a piece of flatback furniture before without many problems, except the Chinese English instructions. But even those have not tripped me up so far. However this one has me stumped at step one so far, although of course I will persevere. What the manufacturers should have done is include a picture of the item in the instructions and had these written by somebody who's first language was English. They could also have put stickers on the parts to indicate which part was which and what way up it is supposed to go. We are talking about 31 pieces of board and over 50 fixings plus 8 plastic parts and 3 metal pipes. So the wheels are on, lets see how the rest goes.An hour or two on and this one has kicked my butt (excuse me) a couple of times. You have to have the picture from Amazon in front of you in order to suss out which board goes where, the drawings are very faded photo copies. You must also ensure that you have counted and cross checked your parts list, probably be a good idea to take a couple of tranquilisers too. However, the further you you go the easier it gets. Right now it's going on ten so time to give it a rest and finish up in the morning. More later then.Finally finished! Once I had figured out 6 of the board placements, everything clicked into place and the remainder of the build went without very much trouble. I have to say I was very happy with the end result, my only bugbear being that the plastic parts looked and felt very cheap. However, it will do a great job and make my life more comfortable and, at the price is good value for money. I am glad, in one way, that my disability limited the time I could spend on the work because those necessary breaks made me think my way forward?
