My primary concern with phone cases is if it's actually protecting my phone or just saying it will.They say they have all these drop proof, technological layers and I don't care how it works I just need to be happy to think it will.I've purchased the same product before and the ring fell off, I'll chalk that up to me being a drunkard.However, when compared to the other case I bought for my Google Pixel 4 XL this one IMMEDIATELY feels light and weaker.For it's price and magnetic mount, this case is a solid 4/5But with that being said I still don't have faith in it protecting my phone from complete drops.

I have a magnetic car mount in the car that i've used with previous phones and mounts, this mount easily drops off the mount in bumpy situations. Along with that, the kickstand is kind of flimsy and falls over sometimes. Its also too bulky to sit on the google wireless charging stand and charge consistently.

very protective. However kind of clunky. Kickstand ring was OK, but took some effort to release and turn into position. Also, since it was metal, it blocks access for wireless charging. Went back to my old standby, the Zizo case. More expensive but more comfortable in the hand and equally, if not more, protective.

This is a great case for protection. There are two minor drawbacks. The kickstand is sturdy but it doesn't stay in place when you move the phone. You have to make sure it is in the right position or it will fall. The other issue is the magnet piece. It is a great feature but after about a month of use the glue has come loose and I had to glue it back in place. Otherwise this is a great case.

Great first case for my Pixel 4XL. I need one stylish for work and one for regular life. This is great to take on hikes, in the garage, walking the dog etc.

Rugged and minimal, as promised. The magnet feature is not potent enough for it to reliably stay on my magnetic mount. The kickstand ring feature is cool.

It's slippery and doesn't come up past the screen very much so it's still susceptible to drops
