This spiral slicer is fantastic for raw diets and salad lovers. I've been using it to slice zucchini and carrots into spiral noodles for pasta or salad dishes. It comes with four sharp blades and they're really easy to switch in and out for different needs.I really like the style looks like a vegetable sharpener.well design great quality.It is also cleans up pretty easily just run it under water and scrub a bit, and pretty much everything just runs off. Technically, this works, but I didn't find it was worth the effort. It does spiralize and slice your foods but it is a little difficult to hold on to, especially when slicing something firm like a carrot. When you get to the end of the carrot, there is a center stub of carrot that you can't push through the blades without also slicing your fingers. Then cleaning it is also a little tricky. I wouldn't recommend this for spiralizing a couple pounds of zucchini for a main dish. Your fingers would be cramping by the end! But this works to make a small amount of some pretty carrot spirals for garnish. For big batches, though, I just use my vegetable peeler and end up with the same effect with much less effort.
