These lamps are amazing for the price. They were super easy to install. They looked better than what I was expecting. I’m super happy with them. I only wish the plug in versions on/off switch was also a dimmer. Love them otherwise!

I tend to overthink things when installing so the first one took way longer to get together than the second one. If your are plugging this in, remove the circle junction bracket pre-installed on each sconce and replace with the included brackets for no junction box. White to white and black to black twisted with included wire nuts. Screw the copper ground wire into the green screw. Done!We are using these because this particular wall is all solid brick, while hardwiring is an option it would be an extreme job when plug in sconces work just as well.I am happy with this purchase and the included hardware made sure I had everything I needed to install right away.

The instructions for these lights absolutely suck. I have put together many a thing (furniture, other lights, minor plumbing, etc) throughout the decades and these are the absolute worst instructions ever.There is nothing on how to install this as a plug in and how to then mount the light to the wall. Fortunately, another user (Lisbeth) left instructions in her review on how to install as a plug in.My decision is to decide if I want to tackle a project like this right now - without guidance.

I had been searching for the perfect wall lamps for longer than I can remember; went to so many stores that I lost count. Finally I found these. If you love to read these lamps are perfect; they adjust so the position can be exactly what you need. I suggest you purchase the light bulbs that can be dimmed, that way your significant other will not be disturbed during your late night reading!

Set up was pretty easy for these lamps to be plug-in, instead of hard-wired. You just twist some wires together according to colors and tuck them behind the base, which you install on the wall and then you plug them in. I used these lamps as sconces in my basement, but they would look good as bedside sconces, as well. They can hinge closer to the wall or swing out. I used LED bulbs in mine. So I recommend these because of easy installation, good price, quality of products and nice looking, too.

I bought these specifically for my bedroom because they said they were dimmable, but they are not. Maybe if you buy an attachment for your plug they could be, or if you hard wire them into an already dimmable light switch they would be, but on their own they are not. That was disappointing, but I needed light in my room, so I decided to keep them.

You just cannot beat these lights for value. They do require assembly, but are really easy to put together. I was able to do it in 20 minutes or so and the end result was it looking just like they do in the picture. Really nice looking, and at a crazy low price. Well worth it to assemble it yourself.

Shipping was fast. Item came as exactly as described. My husband built me a custom headboard, and my son installed they lights into the headboard, so I can stay in bed and read and then easily turn off light when I am finished. They are doing exactly what I needed them to do!
