Love, love love!
I used these to make a Black Forest cake, and I love them! Everyone at my Christmas party said it was the best black forest cake they had ever eaten. It was gone in a flash. These cherries are sweet and tart with a good firmness to them. They are packed in a heavy syrup that should not be wasted. I brushed some of the syrup over the cake before I frosted it with whipped cream frosting. The syrup can also be used for mixed drinks, or added to Squirt, 7-up, or Coke. Yummy!

Good Cherries for cocktails.
I buy these Rex cherries because they're almost as good as the well known high end brand Lux****. These cherries are good enough and a lot less expensive. Good product!

Pretty good!
I bought this to try as it’s markedly less expensive than my habitual brand (Toschi; love it), as if ice cream and cheesecake I add this to aren’t expensive enough these days). But I digress. Were the savings worth it?First impressions: Amarena Rex’s taste profile seems just perceptibly less tart, the cherries appear a tad larger but importantly, they are pleasantly firm and not mushy.TL;DR I can see me buying these again. Those savings can buy more desserts to ‘dress up.’

I love them! Perfect in a drink. Way better than using maraschino!

A Poor Substitute for Luxardo
I had wanted to try something less expensive than the gold-standard for cocktail cherries (Luxardo), and gave these a shot. Pass. These were almost bitter and the syrup was not very thick. Sometimes the phrase "You get what you pay for" is very accurate. In this case it was too true.
