Here are things that you would not perhaps know unless you owned these exact sheets for six months like we have:They are staying together well, no seams have split, no hanging threads.They are thin, so they take up very little room in the laundry hamper and in the washer and dryer when balled up.They are easily air dried on a rack or clothesline due to their thinness.If one likes the feel of freshly washed, crisp sheets, these are not going to be your favorites; even washed and dried, they are never crisp, stiff, tight, or any of those kinds of words.If one likes the feeling of soft sheets, silky, smooth, flowing, then these may be your favorites.They seem colorfast; we bought the gray color and I cannot say they are any dingier or less vibrant than the day we bought them.These microfiber-style, polyester sheets absolutely show oil stains more than cotton sheets, and it does not wash out. This may be particularly true of the darker colored sheet sets and pillowcases. If one uses body oils (e.g Neutrogena Body Oil), Vaselines, skin creams, hair gels, or eats potato chips in bed, you may not like how these sheets look after a few months. This bedding will have you believing that your spouse has ordered a bucket of KFC and ate it at a pajama party while you were at work; don't worry, your wife isn't having an affair with Col. Sanders...it's just the sheets.These sheets have not shrunk and still can be easily placed on the bed. Even the fitted Mellanni sheet with elastic corners, unlike my usual cotton shrinky-dink sheets, doesn't snap up into my kisser while I'm making the bed. I got the queen size in purple and love the color. It's a dark plum purple and perfect for me. They appear to be wrinkle free, but I pulled them out the dryer right away. I also wouldn't say they are stain resistant, some dark spots after washing for the first time. My mattress is only 10" so the fitted sheet fits with extra room. The flat sheet also has plenty length on both sides to tuck under. The sheets are very thin and feel cheap and only have one seem all the away around that looks like it could come undone easily. I wouldn't call these luxury, but they are good for the price.

Update:Changed from 1 star to 5. Here's why:I finally got ahold of the company (I think I had the wrong contact info) & they responded almost immediately from that email. They sent over new sheets very quickly. So they have lived up to their "Mellanni Lifetime Promise" & it is appreciated.Now on to the quality of the sheets. Idk how to explain it but when you lay the flat sheet down and try to pull it more to one side, it feels like the other side is already tucked in. It's weird. Not bad at all - just weird. The sheets are smooth but not silky.That said, these are currently my favorite sheets. I recently bought 3 or 4 new sheets to find "the one" and so far, these are the best. I usually sleep warm but I don't find myself soaked in sweat with these. I have pets who sleep with me & that means their hair is everywhere. With these sheets, I don't feel every. single. hair. It's frigging amazing. These sheets are extremely soft. I havent noticed any changed in texture from washing them. My cat has gotten his claw snagged, which sucks but I'm used to it. I am definitely going to buy another set of these in a different color. I have already recommended them to my brother & he has bought them for himself & likes it as well. He said that he likes the pockets on the fitted sheet since he doesn't usually use the flat sheet.Older review:Pros:• Soft sheets.• Beautiful color/print.Cons:• The pockets are on the fitted sheet.• Two holes in the flat sheet. We unfortunately didn't check them before throwing them into the washer & didnt see the issues until it was too late. As soon as we took the sheets out of the package, we loved how they felt. So so soft. We were very excited to put these on our bed. I cant talk about how well they are while sleeping though. I did know ahead of time that the pockets were on the fitted sheet but I am mentioning it because well, we would have liked them on the flat sheet instead.Amyways, we would have been happy with them regardless but as we were making the bed, I noticed a hole in the flat sheet. My fiancé thought it was small enough to ignore so we continue trying to make the bed. He kept pulling the sheet all the way to his side & not leaving me any to tuck in on my side. We went back & forth until I realized something wasn't right. I decided to look at the tag and saw it said QUEEN. What?! How did we get a queen flat & CalKing fitted sheet? At this point, doesnt matter about the hole or the pockets, we can't keep it. I decided to look at the sheets more closely and noticed another hole.The problem is we ordered these sheets before the fires in CA. And then the fires got too close to our home for comfort. So the sheets got ignored and forgotten for a few weeks. It wasn't until we knew we were safe & didn't have to evacuate that we remembered the fresh & clean sheets we washed. But it was too late to return through Amazon. I decided to email the company before leaving a review because it seems like an easy fix - it wasn’t like we don't like the sheets because they sleep hot or some other reason (we don't know either way at this point), plus I saw their "promise".Well, we still haven't heard back from the company a few weeks later. I didnt want to leave a bad review but I feel that will be the only way to get their attention since they havent replied to my email.We have bought other sheets since then that we like. My fiancé would rather us get our money back. I would honestly be happy to get a new set to try but I believe we should definitely get a refund since we did not get the sheets we paid for. IJust thought about: I do wonder how well the sheets hold up seeing as there were two holes in the ones we received. Either these were well-used sheets by someone else or they wear easily.

We've used these sheets for about 2 weeks now. They wash and dry nice, wrinkle free and very soft. They are alot thinner than my normal expensive sheets. We have the My pillow 2" topper on the mattress and it covers it very well. I got the beige sheets and they are very light. Very different than what I was expecting. I wasn't sure about microfiber sheets, but for the price, I do like them. I hope they hold up well to many future washings. Overall, I like them so far.

These are great sheets! The quality seems good, fabric is very soft and not hard like some sheets are. The only complaint I have is that on one of the pillow cases, the hem on one side of the opening is missing. This is my first time buying these sheets so I don’t know if this is a common problem or not. It’s not that big of an issue for us and they are still useable, but it was a bummer to realize that our new sheets weren’t sewn correctly.

Product is saying long life, as high as the thread count is my least surviving sheet 18 months about 28 washed, interlined with plane white, and purple. Pillow cases even with greasy heads look new, top sheet not bad but bottom sheet looks like we invited homeless people to roll in dirt after 6 months, had to add bleach after a year( changed weekly and rotated with 2 other wets one white, one purple bottom sheet isnt surviving. I'd say great guest room sheet, not a rotating main set

If you like snug-fitting sheets, as I do, don’t get these ones! The fitted sheet is only fitted on the corners. The sides are not fitted at all. There is elastic on the sides but it doesn’t fit snug against the mattress. They just kind of lay there like a limp noodle. These sheets remind me of the ones that you see in many hotels, where the sides of the fitted sheets are all loose so that when you sleep on the bed the sheets just get all bunched up underneath you. I just put them on this morning and haven’t slept in the bed yet so I will update my review once I have done so. But so far, it’s not looking promising. I will probably be returning these. On the plus side though, they are very soft. If that’s all you care about then these sheets will probably work great for you.UPDATEI have slept with the sheets now, for 2 nights, and can confirm that the fitted sheet does not stay put on the sides. You will have to readjust the sheet every morning. But, on the plus side, they are incredibly soft against your skin. I will be keeping this set for that very reason but I really don't like how the "fitted" sheet doesn't fit well at all, even though I have a very thick mattress, which these sheets are made for. I will be returning the 2nd set I purchased, though.2nd update:The cheapest return postage cost me $35 and the company only refunds a maximum of $20 postage. So it costed me $15 to order and return a set of sheets that were unsuitable due to a design flaw. Not impressed!

I had been reading various articles about the best cooling sheets, and this brand kept coming up in all the lists. After seeing rave reviews about them (on Amazon and elsewhere), I decided to buy them. I put them on my bed tonight, and I was looking forward to feeling that hotel style luxury and to keeping cool. I was massively disappointed on both points. These sheets are by NO MEANS “cooling”. They are made of microfibre, which is more breathable then some materials, but not as breathable as cotton (especially supima cotton), linen, tencel, or bamboo, all of which are materials you typically see in cooling sheets/blankets. (For example the Ghost Bed cooling sheets are made of 60% supima cotton, and 40% tencel. I believe Hush uses tencel for their “ice sheets” as well). I suppose “cooling” is not a protected term, but referring to them as cooling when a standard cotton sheet would be more breathable is misleading in my opinion.When I crawled under the sheet, I did notice that they were a little softer than your standard cotton sheet. But I sure didn’t feel any hotel luxury! Not sure how they define luxury, but these don’t feel anywhere near as comfortable as the sheets of any of the 4 star hotels I have stayed at.These sheets are NOT cooling. Not even a little bit. In fact, after I crawled under the sheet, I was roasting within 5 minutes and had to kick it off. They trapped my body heat immediately and I was getting hotter and hotter each minute.The sheets seem high quality and well made (and very soft), but this product just isn’t what its description holds it out to be. I can overlook the “Hotel luxury” reference, since it is a term that is bandied about constantly to the point where I don’t think it means anything anymore, but the sheets are certainly NOT cooling by any stretch of the imagination.I’ll be keeping them as I do enjoy the soft feel even though it is isn’t “hotel luxury”, but I’ll be tucking them away until winter. But Im frustrated and disappointed because I bought them as a summer sheet based on the description, and they are not “cooling” as the product description purports.

Absolutely the best sheets I've ever bought in my whole life. You won't be disappointed, I'm looking to buy another set just to have on hand.Love that they don't wrinkle, quality is great and I wash my sheets once a week with no issues with the material fading or thinning out. Highly recommend

I’ve bought 4 of these and I’m not impressed with this last lot I just received. There is thread everywhere (literally) ripping out of seams of each piece (pillow cases, fitted sheet and top sheet). The hell happened? The underneath of the sheet is also a different texture to the top of the sheet (evident in photo) unlike the last 3 I’ve got. This is not quality and I won’t be buying another one. So disappointed…

First the "microfiber" is just polyester, which was disappointing. I bought these thinking they were going to be soft and breathable. They are not, they are polyester. Secondly, the fitted sheet is way too big for my kind mattress (which is a thick mattress). It has all this extra material in the middle that you end up sleeping on. It does not fall off the mattress, but the extra material is not comfortable to lay or sleep on. I would not recommend these sheets.
