Hard firmware codes to liberty shield vpn
The other mikrotik advert for £22.99 clearly states it’s libertyshield, this advert does not but they are it seems the same item. Firmware locked so reset doesn’t fix matters and no clear way to tftp and force firmware. In essence the unit is useless unless you’re prepared to subscribe to their service (which could be done for free using ZeroTier, atleast that was my plan). My advice, get a £15 tplink and flash to openwrt and you get the exact same outcome! Decided to returned today:

Misleading, modified devices being miss sold. Avoid
Avoid! This is not a clean MikroTik device, it is rebranded and has customisations. You do not get admin access to the device and have to pay for the service of an unknown vendor to manage.

Preconfigured as a VPN Router
DO NOT BUY THIS if you are expecting a router that you can configure!I had bought this with the intention of learning the Mikrotik OS and platform yet was surprised to find that this router has been pre-configured to use Liberty VPN.I did try re-flashing the OS on it yet this appears to have been disabled.

This is a cheat
This is not a router you can use any way you want to. It’s pre-installed as a commercial, subscription-based VPN client and the admin password has been changed to lock you out. A factory reset does NOT circumvent this. I’ve wasted my money on this useless device because the Amazon advert was so grossly misleading. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Modified router, with Vpn
It is modified by 3rd party company and they started to resell it as their own VPN, they need your bank detals for start up this router actually make it usable.I have reinstalled this modem and reconfigured.Money stealers.

Configured for third-party Liberty VPN - not as described!
This is a Mikrotik router, but it's been pre-configured by some third party to act as a VPN router rather than coming with the factory OS on it.Pretty dodgy to not make this clear in the description!

väldigt bra 2 ghz router som ej gå att uppdatera
Mikrotik har väldigt bra produkter och det är grym hur bra den fungerar! Endå nakdelen är dock att den har för lite minne för att ladda ned det uppdateringar som Mikrotik har.
