Swirl Green Tea Cold-Brewed On-The-Go, Mixed Pack, 0.71-Ounce (Pack of 6)

I recently got bored with Twinings and Celestial Seasoning cold brewed teas and started looking for something new. I'm so happy that I found Swirl on Amazon. The box you get with this purchase contains 6 zip bags(packs) with 10 tea bags in each pack: 3 packs are 'original flavor', one mango, one mint and one peach. It is good way to try all flavors -- then you can switch to the favorite, 1-flavor packs if you wish.I usually prefer flavored cold teas, but 'original flavor' (=plain green tea) is surprisingly nice and mellow. Since I have 30 bags (3 packs) of this flavor, I plan give away some to friends to encourage them to try this delicious tea.I enjoyed mango flavor that I tried next, but peach flavor that was next in line exceeded all expectations - perfect balance of tea and peach, rich but not overwhelming. This one will be my favorite...Mint flavor can 'kill' green tea if overdone - Swirl version is quite mild, but still refreshing. Probably the best flavor during or after the exercise.Please note that it is real green tea, so if you leave bag in the water for too long, bitter taste can develop. Manufacturer recommends drinking it within 4 hours and I must agree: I sipped the last drops of 'original flavor' 3 hours after brewing and it was still good, but you could taste some bitterness that was not there within the first hour. I guess it could be worse after one more hour. Of course you can remove the bag from the mug within the first hour, but it may be difficult in case of water bottle.*** Update after more than a year of use ***Still enjoy this tea and peach is still my preferred flavor. I was surprised by significant number of customers complaining that the tea does not brew or is too weak. I bet that those are the people accustomed to "Sweet tea" in southern states of USA or strong, black tea in any other location. I used to have similar preferences 15 years ago and can tell you: "Sweet tea" kills your taste buds. Give this one a longer trial period and you will eventually start appreciating variety of milder flavors. Once you retrain your taste buds, return to "Sweet tea" will feel like drinking some sort of concentrate....

When I opened the package I was expecting the tea packet to look like what was depicted on the package. So something similar to the Dutch "Tea Sticks" which contain the tea in some sort of silver paper or mylar type of covering with the bag being perforated with holes to allow the tea to steep. These Swirl Green tea packets are nothing more than tubular shaped tea bags and do not like what is shown on the package label. So I feel like the product was misrepresented.These are nothing more than linear shaped, paper tea bags! I suspect I could have folded over some of the silk type tea bags or the pyramid shaped ones and shoved them into the bottle opening. For the extra price and hype I don't think these are worth the extra money. I am disappointed and I rarely, if ever give low star ratings.I have not tried these as yet. If the flavor is extraordinary and different from plain old green tea bags I will revise my review.update: I finally had a chance to try this tea. I left the bag in a bottle of water for 24 hours. It barely colored the water. I could taste the artificial mango flavor but I could not detect any taste of tea. This is a nice concept but the execution failed. I gave the box of Swirl away and told my friend to use it as hot tea but not as it was intended as that just didn't work.

I bought this tea thinking it would be so convenient to add to a bottle of water or to a reusable water bottle to take with me when I'm out and about or at work. It has almost no flavor!! The peach, mint, and mango flavors have a slight flavor, but none of them has any tea flavor. It's not returnable to Amazon, so I wrote to the company. The only suggestion they had was to leave it in the water longer. The did not offer a refund or any other compensation. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I ordered the peach flavor of this product but received mango instead. When I put the first tea bag in cold water and followed the directions to shake for one minute, the tea did not disperse into the water (as opposed to Twinings Cold Brew which I highly recommend for making ice tea.) I let the tea bag sit in water for five minutes, shook again, with no better result. On the whole I can recommend neither the product or the seller.

It takes a long time to get the full flavor effect so to speak but the quality is good.

These tea bags are long and thin and fit perfectly in a bottle of water. I keep them in my car and put one in a bottle of water (in a plastic bottle you buy or a stainless steel bottle you carry with you). I love the taste of the Mango and the Peach the best. They are unsweetened and I really like the taste. You are getting your water and your antioxidants from green tea at the same time, and with no hassle.

My wife is a big fan of peach tea, so I bought these for her as a surprise gift. She loves it and uses it in a water bottle she carries to office or gym. Unlike drink powder mix (think Crystal Light), this product is made of real tea leaves, so it usually takes a few more minutes to brew (not dissolve). But the drink you get is smooth and doesn’t have that artificial aftertaste. We will definitely try other flavors later.

The tea has absolutely no flavor -- even when I add two bags to a glass. None of the earthiness of green tea. In response to the other reviewers, I am not a "sweet tea" addict. I drink my tea without any sweetener. If you are looking for any developed flavor, STOP, do not buy this product.
