Sony RMED009/RM-ED009 Original Remote Control for Sony TV

The real deal, well made and it works and has continued to work. Tried other cheaper Website offerings all arrived cracked or some keys failed to work pretty quickly. This unit was more expensive (3 times the price). It feels heavier than cheaper lookalikes and the keys operate more firmly.Well packaged and delivered efficiently.

We bought this replacement as the buttons on our old one simply stopped working. It worked straight out of the box with no setup required and has given us over 12 months of trouble free use. If your old remote control's buttons are starting to fail, then save yourself a lot of frustration and pick one of these up!

Our sony TV had another remote which failed and we had this onw with another TV which we were very happy with so ordered another. Great value and prompt service

Don't mess around with a dodgy remote. For less than £20, I have an exact replacement and TV works just as new. All I did was swap the batteries over and now I have a very responsive remote control again. It was delivered very quickly by the postman, so no hanging about for delivery men.

GuysI would like to thanks all of you who have written reviews on this replacement remote and echo 3 points:Why is the original so poor - it hasn't lasted 4 years and we don't have young children or animals playing with it.The replacement is excellent - batteries in and go BUT how long will it last?Thanks to all those who have written reviews - great stuff.

This product stop working after 7 weeks. Can Sony replace it or give me a refund.

Sony TV remote (RMED009).Fine ...it works ok. Delivered ok (from Cherrypick).Generally they don't last that long before buttons start sticking.This is my 2nd replacement as the TV is over 10yrs old but glad I can buy a replacement while the TV is still in good working order.
