Doesn't store well.
Totally enjoy this product. However, I had them in my pantry in my kitchen. Last night I reached in to grab the last box of the lasagna noodles and it was swollen and broken open in my hand leaking something smelly and wet all over my hand and kitchen floor. Not happy.

Off Brown color and off smell , definately not like other hearts of palm "pasta"
do not waste your money on this, it is a weird brown color and weird smell, sorry i just didnt my the usual brand Palminiwhich is white liked cooked pasta and no discernable smell. I cant return them for some reason i cant figure out, and i wouldnt even donate, they are going in the trash.

Acceptable pasta alternative, my personal favorite so far is the Angel Hair in fried noodle dishes.
