Super Simple to setup and Use
I've been looking for a decent digital microscope for some time to help with various hobbies that I do, including soldering, fine detail painting, and miniature wood carving. So far I am not disappointed. The photos attached are of me trying everything out and were taken freehand mode. The three with the thread on are my dog's collar from varying distances and magnifications. The number is the battery status symbol on my phone showing the white as it's three colours, and the thing that looks like a landscape is the skin on my dog's nose and there's my eye.The reflections in my eye are from the built-in LED's, I had to hook the microscope up to my TV to focus in order to get a decent picture. The stand is a simple affair, but once screwed in it is stable and robust enough with simple motion controls via a screw thumb turn on the vertical height adjustment. The product description states that this is the DM041, but in reality, I received a DM042. I'm not 100% sure what that means, however, 2 batteries were included. Everything else that it was able to do has met my expectations so far. And for information, they're the same batteries you can find in some older style Nokia phones, so if you have one kicking about, you instantly have spare batteries (I now have 4)I haven't played around too much with the software yet, but loading it onto my Win 10 PC was pain-free and works fine so far. Transferring images off the device to my PC was straight forward enough though.A couple of minor niggles that I wasn't expecting when I first received it. The time and image capture resolution reset to factory default on power-up. I'm wasn't bothered about the time as I don't need time stamps on my images and videos and it's simple enough to change the resolution so not really a detraction from the purpose I purchased it for. It was quickly sorted with a firmware update though and now works flawlessly. Excellent customer support :)All in all, I am extremely satisfied with it and looking forward to using it for the purpose of my purchase. I'll be hooking it up to a 28" monitor which gives me a perfect view of what I'm working on.

Worth the money.
Well packaged. Bought for SMD circuit soldering etc. Works well, excellent picture quality and good magnification for what I need. Multiple outputs for PC and HDMI so I can use my TV if needed. Base is a little small and has no way of holding object being viewed firmly. Battery lasts about two hours however unit can be powered by external usb charger or computer Usb. Polariser works ok and can make a lot of difference to visibility of object. Value for money is 4/5 it does not look like a unit built for commercial use but then again, at the price, you wouldn’t expect it to be. Orange plastic controls do not do much for its image! Overall, very satisfied with purchase and the supplier gives exceptional and quick response to questions.

Picture fuzzy
The image at times a little fuzzy. With a little adjustment it clears a little. It is suitable purpose for my coins use.

Unbelievably outstanding
Ordered this on the advice of a friend as I couldn’t afford the £700 plus scope that everyone else was using, and my god, this is the perfect solution at 90% cheaper, the supplier monitor is clear, crystal clear, and it also came with a hdmi lead so I could make the image even bigger on my 55” display! Two battery’s, all charge cable and convenient for me to pick up and take with me on my van, light image also helps and provides a clear view all the time, is there a negative about this unit,? NO, it came next day and more or less earned me the cost of the unit with one repair. More than happy and will 100% recommend this scope and seller

It's a great tool to use to have fun whilst learning about things up close.
I've had this microscope for a while now and it has been a great tool to help learn about things. Cutting up various items and looking at them under the scope with an easy to see screen. You can record or even output via a hdmi cable to a tv or monitor. Great bit of kit, makes learning for children fun and has been a godsend these last few weeks with home schooling.

Great microscope
Lovely microscope, easy to use for my 7 year old and we all enjoy looking at stuff, we take it out on our daily walks and we always find some amazing things. Only downside, Id like it to have a slide holder but overall I highly recommend this

Great fun and very useful—not mac friendly
My girls have had great fun with this. Easy to set up and easy to use.It has proved handy, not only for inquisitive children, but handy for very small repairs I was trying to carry out on a switch. My one criticism is that I can't get it to work with my iMac. No success in using the app whatsoever.

Fantastic gift for the budding young scientist
This is remarkably good value for anyone 6 years old or older. It is inexpensive for what it is and definitely does the job. The instructions are easy to follow and a micro SD card is included. It is necessary to download the driver, software and user guide from their website.I has two modes. One is used with a connection to a computer the other works directly with the built-in screen.Everything you need apart from the driver and software is included in the box.It is aimed at jewellery makers and I can see how useful this would be.For me, the maximum screen resolution for still images is rather disappointing at 640x480 but it works exceptionally well and my comments re budding young scientists is valid.I use eset software and had no issues with the software downloads. If it lacks anything, it's the solid feel of high-end microscopes, but it seems tought enough.
