A very robust and adaptable mobile base
This mobile base is very robust to say the least. I wish I had discovered it long before now since I have many other mobile bases in my workshop and I would have bought several of these instead of the other options that I have used over the years.I have no doubt that this stand will handle a significant weight capacity. I put this stand under my PM2800 drill press which is a generally considered a "no no" since drill presses are top heavy and prone to topple when on a mobile base and being moved around. While I am in no way recommending you do this, I am quite satisfied with my results. Some folks have made this adjustable base even smaller than its smallest size by cutting/shortening the cross members but I chose to leave them "at minimum size as supplied" for this particular application since it gives the drill press a much larger footprint and adds stability. I put in timber cross pieces bolted to the mobile base and then bolted the drill press to the timbers. I can now easily move the press about my shop as needed and the stability is good from my perspective. Please use caution in your application of this base and understand I am not recommending you follow my example. The base is easy and intuitive to assemble and it fit together well. I did not need any instructions and assume anyone who would buy this would have the skill and understanding to have it together in a snap. The factory welding appears adequate. The painting is not the best but it is adequate for the service. The skimpy box that it was shipped in was quite damaged in shipping and to my disappointment one of the casters had gone missing. Although it appeared that UPS had taped the damaged box up, the caster had likely already escaped through a hole! I called the seller and they had the replacement to me in a jiffy. I received great customer service as well as a product that I am very satisfied with.

Poor quality inspection and caster performance
Durable stand, but a bit difficult due to thread burrs and hole burrs. This is my third stand, the others were great and assembled easily. They all have swivel caster issues. Once assembled the swivel casters often will not spin 360 deg without having to manipulate the mobile base. I had to have one caster replaced already. There is lots of movement in the bearing race on these swivel casters. 1000 Lbs???? No way, these casters fail at around 600 lbs. The third and last mobile base that I purchased needs another caster. This is Garbage!!

Heavy duty and well built
This is a very sturdy mobile base. The manufacturing appears clean and precise. The side arms fit tightly into the corner sections (a rubber mallet may help occasionally), and the retaining bolts that hold the corner sections to the four arms generally fit into the threaded holes cleanly (but have a wrench handy to get obstinate bolts started and tightened all the way in). One drawback: the base comes with no documentation -- zero. No parts list, no simple schematic for assembly, no advice on what to measure before assembly. So, set aside 5 minutes to think through the assembly before you begin: disassembly for side length adjustment is a tedious task.

This is the one.
This is the one you want. I researched a metric ton of these to use on my table saw and were skeptical of them all. Most had very mixed reviews and complaints about them breaking or being made with cheap parts. I finally found this model and the reviews seemed great. I purchased it and I have to say that the reviews were right. This thing is well built. Very strong materials and little to nothing on it that can break. I saw where others have complained about lack of instructions or a parts list but if you were buying this to mount a power tool on, and can’t figure out how to put it together, you probably shouldn’t be using the power tool in the first place. This is extremely simple to assemble. My only complaint is it is made in China. I would rather support a US company but this is a very well-made piece of equipment. Would not hesitate to buy again.

Rugged and a Great Bang for your Buck
This is a rugged machinery stand. I put my 400 lb. planer on it and it rolls around with ease. It was easy to put together and you don't need directions. Just remember to put all of the silver bars with the holes facing out. I was able to jack up one side of my planer and build the mobile base under the planer without any help. Didn't have to round up four buddies to lift the planer onto the stand. I have several different bases in my shop and I'd have to say this is the best one by a large margin. Great value for the price. Get one, you won't be disappointed.

Truly is heavy duty
Although there were no instructions, it only takes less than 30 seconds to lay the parts out and see how they should go together. Holes all lined up well and were cleanly tapped. My only wish would have been to have spring washers included.I have a very small shop, so all my equipment must be mobile. I am using this base for a 10" planer/jointer, so I needed one that is truly heavy duty and much more stable than the shop fox base I have for my band saw. It seems to fits the bill quite well. The casters allow it to move smoothly under load (over my smooth concrete floor), and the screw-down rubber-tipped feet that lock it in place have been adequate to keep the machine stable when operating in either planer, or jointer mode.Bottom line… I would definitely buy one again.

Heavy duty, but no parts list
I had mobile bases for shop equipment from other manufacturers, but this MB800 is by far the most heavy duty. My only complaint is the lack of documentation. Assembly is pretty obvious, however, how would one go about getting a replacement part? The parent company is called American General Too Group Vista Ca. I contacted them about getting parts. Waiting a reply. As heavy duty this base is, there are a couple of plastic feet that will eventually break of get lost.
