My bad for not paying better attention to the product description, but I have ordered a number of replacement batteries for iPhones over the years and I must say I was a bit surprised to discover a new sealing gasket was not included to ensure the device remains water resistant after the swap. Also, the instruction video included is a little vague in comparison to others I have used for different models. The quality of the product does seem to be on point and I am overall satisfied with the results, but leaving a 4 star seeing I feel like the kit is incomplete by missing a gasket.

This was my first time switching out the battery have done screens for years now, I don’t know if I did something wrong or I got a bad battery or if maybe the phone just has a short somewhere it lasted longer but was still dying kinda fast.

Works. Haven’t had long enough to give a review of battery longevity but in daily usage it feels slightly longer lasting than the original battery when new. Not a full third longer but that’s to be expected given when the phone was new I didn’t have five million apps and data running. It feels maybe 15% longer than when the phone was new. All and all good purchase so far. I need to replace the charger port also, but I’m not having as much trouble with that after putting in the new battery. I add that only so if you’re having a similar issue you might try replacing the battery first as it is a much easier install. Replacing the charger port is a monumentally pain in the rear. You literally have to take apart everything in the phone except the home button where the battery is only really one bracket.

EDIT: Contacted customer service and they sent me a free replacement. Lets see how long the new one last.Original review:The life of this battery is the worst. Was purchased on March and im getting warning messages that the battery is degraded and must be replaced (7 months life)

This is a great battery but I assumed that since I had replaced a battery on an iPhone 6s, the same tools would work for the iPhone 7 Plus.Nope.If this is your first time replacing the battery in any iPhone beyond the 6S make sure you have all the required tools. I found out the hard way that I was missing one of the specialty tools needed to take screws out. The tool that I was missing and had to get was the Y shaped screwdriver.

Had an old iphone 7 plus and battery was draining really fast after many years of usage. Instead of buying a new phone, changed the battery instead. It works like new! Highly recommended.
