Works great
Put out full watts. Does get warm but used small usb fan(Gaiatop USB Desk fan I got on Amazon) use to charge my solar generator a BLUETTI 180 at 480 watts using an external lifepo4 battery. Did not fade out or shut down. Love it.

Works
Able to pull 410W (34A) continuously at somewhere between 118F to 142F.

Current not regulated as described.
This module produced 400 watts with 13v input. So, I measured 40 amps input. It should regulate better, and input current should be approx 23 amps. Had to return, as I didn't want to draw that kind of load. It may heat up and throttle down to the specified level via heat, but that's not what I expected, and I'm now going to try a 12v to 48v module to see if I can gain what I expect, approx 20a load on input m side.

Perfect for Solar Generators
Mount this bad boy to a larger heat sink if you intend to run it at max output. Does what it says. Love it.

Be careful
This does buck your voltage to a higher level for faster charging of solar power banks from a separate battery (of course there are other uses, but this is my application). There is no real current limiting and it will get hot unless you solar “battery”. Limits current below the 10 amp max. . I would not recommend its use the way I had planned to use it.

Decent voltage converter
Bought this to convert 12v to 48v. The output is exactly 48v and 10amps. One thing I will say as a negative and why I took a star away from the review. As the unit starts to overheat it will reduce the output voltage. This unit MUST have active cooling. I burned one of these up and chalked that up to my fault. I put it in a confined space with zero airflow. Now that I have active cooling from a 12v pc fan (doesn’t take much). This has run flawlessly!

Works great as long as you don't need reated power
The converter works great. It puts out 48 Volt as expected. The input seems to be tolerant to higher voltages. I have used it on 15.5 Volt and it works great. My main issue is that it isn't able to deliver full power for a long time. Maybe a few minutes, then it gets too hot and it will throttle itself down to about half the output power. If you plan on using this converter to charge a power station like an Ecoflow or Bluetti, you will not be too happy with this. It will charge at almost 10 Amp at 48 Volt, but it will overheat quickly and drop to about 240 Watt.In other words, this device is fine for low power demands or when you need power only for short time. An a continuous power source, it doesn't work well.
