Out of This World - Time Looping masterpiece
Warp's Edge is an astonishing piece of game design that's left me breathtaking. I'm a big fan of Time Loop games and Warp's Edge delivered more than I thought possible. Its masterful use of time loops elevates the entire gaming experience to extraordinary levels. As a lone pilot fighting an entire alien fleet, the satisfaction derived from both the storyline and the game mechanics is remarkable.Comparing Warp's Edge to other time loop-themed games, such as T.I.M.E. stories, only highlights the exceptional quality and execution of this gem. The benefit both in mechanical improvement and knowledge gained by looping increase your knowledge of both the situation and the core narrative. based on looping in time made this game unique and immersive. If you're a fan of Time Loop games then the you've just found the perfect game for you.

Great, simple solo game
This is a great game for a simple sit-down and play game when you can't find anyone else to play with you.Pros: It's a fun! The theme is good. It's quick to setup and it's an interesting puzzle. The tactility of managing tokens is a step above cards.Cons: the game is not terribly replayable. After a few plays, it's easy to figure out the formula to win, but for the price, you can't expect too much more.

A suprisingly captivating solo game experience with high replayability.
Playing board games solo sounded silly to me. I'm so used to the idea of social gatherings around the board games and game mechanics built around interactions between the various players. So when this appeared on the sale list on Amazon, I purchased it based on curiosity and glowing YouTube reviews. Despite the reviews I still didn't understand the appeal. Now playing it myself several times, and watching my kids play it - I can say it was a very worthy purchase. For starters, the game arrives with a pretty comfortable stand for all the tokens. The quality of the cards and the tokens is very good, and on their website it is possible to purchase a plastic upgrade. The signs on the tokens are pretty clear and intuitive. The art on the cards is a bit cartoonish, and I'd prefer a more serious tone to it, but it doesn't affect the fun in the gameplay one bit.Now for the gameplay. It's good. It's varied and it's tremendous fun. Each ship card can be defeated in one of two ways and different combinations. Then, as the level of the enemy ships rises the difficulty, there are different penalties to attacks and you begin to "feel the heat" when the unbeaten and unstunned ships fire back. And the motherships that serve as the bosses of the game make you come up with different varied strategies to defeat them, as they become more complex, each with its own twist. You can pilot different ships as well, and their stats also impact the gameplay.I loved that it's a "bag building" game. No dice. You reach blindly into the bag and pull tokens. As you defeat the enemies - you get more tokens which gives you more options and more tools to fight your battles. That was new and felt fresh and somehow fairer than the dice. Each time I finish the game, I feel a releif, suddenly understanding how tense I was during the game, and that's saying something considering it's just a board game. That's alone worth a lot. I highly recommend it.

You’ll beat it next time! (Or the next, or the time after that)
Plenty of variability which means you can keep trying different strategies until (hopefully) you a winning one. The enemies keep coming back, but hopefully you’re better prepared for them next time.High production values and a fun Randomizer story book really add to the enjoyment. If you expect to play a lot, you might consider the upgrades from the publisher.

Great solo game!
The covid months have made it hard to get groups together. I am not a huge fan of solo games. I liked the so much, I ordered the Kickstarter all in version from another site. That added plastic tokens, a play mat and expansion (cards, two motherships and two ships). This version is fine, I just wanted to bling it out! Start out with the easy mothership and move your way up to tougher Motherships. The player ships are the same, different setups with shields and hulls. I have only played six times and won 3 lost 3. I inadvertent cheated on the first win!

A fun solo board game
Warp's Edge was recommended to me after discussing other favorite solo games. This is a fun puzzle and is actually quite challenging, which is nice and makes me want to keep playing. If you like solo board gaming, or like a tactile puzzle, pick it up.
