The Living Soil Handbook: The No-Till Grower's Guide to Ecological Market Gardening

Genius - Hands down, the most readable & informative no-till/dig permaculture book out there..
OK, I haven't read every permaculture book ever published, but if there is a better one, it would be genuinely remarkable work, as The Living Soil Handbook is the most carefully, intelligently written and genuinely informative book that I have read in the gardening/horticulture genre. The author an unusually considered & articulate writer (see also his YouTube channel - @notillgrowers), with decades of personal experience and practical experimentation. Likewise, his advice is undogmatic, clear & reliable, while acknowledging that solutions vary by context.Granted, his personal focus is on profitable & sustainable horticulture, but his advice (and enthusiasm) translate directly to permaculture gardening.A must-read for any one either venturing into permaculture, or wanting to update/upgrade established good practice.- - -Bought at £17.99, with free delivery.Item was delivered on-time, as-described, and suitably packaged.

A nerds DREAM!!
Jesse Frost's magnum opus on soil health, offers a massive deep dive on living soil and how to get thr best from that soil amd how to feed and look after it. Im an amature gardener and will be putting all these lessons into practice. Even though its extremely detailed its set out in an easily absorbable format with great illustrations.Worth every penny. Great informative book
I am thinking of starting regenerative. I live in the UK. This book gives lots of info for all sorts of soil. Lots of tips they learned first hand, very helpful. Explanations are easy understood for both beginners and those who want to changeover and is very thorough. Loads of photos and illustrations. Also info on individual crops and companions. Best book I bought on the subject so far and is making me think I can do it. Very excited to start. Thank you!
