The bracket is metal, very well designed and constructed
This is very well constructed. I was extremely put off by the price. I tried using an old hot shoe type of bracket, which worked but dropped the flash unit during a shoot (the flash survived just fine). I decided to get the correct bracket for this flash. Having now received the bracket and discovering it is not plastic but metal, that the knobs have a rubber coating and are positive locking, that there are smooth click stops for angle adjustment and there is a fabric storage bag makes me feel a little less fianancially abused.
