Q: What size dog does a size medium fit - I don't see any specifications (weight of dog) to help me determine which size I need.

My dog wears a medium per the size chart. He has a 24" chest exactly and it was snug. It fits but he can't gain any weight. I can't quite get the strap up to the top velcro. If your dog is smaller than 24" chest, then this should fit. I would say that if your dogs chest is 24", go to the next size.

Q: Can a male dog pee in this? I'd love to get one for my Derby but he'd have to be in it all day when I'm at work. Thanks.

yes, my dog is a male and has no problem in that area

Q: Will this help with my mini aussie that gets over excited when people come to visit?

It "may" if the excited is strictly an anxiety issue. Most of the time that is a behavior issue that needs specific training methods to improve (yes, I am a dog trainer). I do prefer the ThunderShirt style over this AKC brand style (I have tried both of them). It wraps different and is a little sturdier of a material, imo.
