frustratingly fun little game
luck of the cards plays a big part of this game's success but it's a fun game and one you get better at the more you play. youtube has some helpful videos from people.you have 15 'minutes' (not timed with a clock but with a card that you move the card down a minute for each move) you have to 'pay' a minute to score every card except the 11th so that's 10 minutes right there so the rest of the moves have to be on point! discarding costs nothing and 1 card (the 10) lets you bring a discard back and place to be played next, the 11 lets you score a card from the discard pile. otherwise your cards would be stuck there. 6 is a reshuffle. one lets you turn one card face down, another 2 cards facedown, another you can't do anything with but score or pay a minute to turn over or switch with another card if the card that allows that comes up soon in the game! there's a totally different game ' bowling solitaire that has a totally differnent feel to it in the game - bright and cutesy and it's a fun game as well though I dont bother scoring it because bowling scoring is confusing but it's fun to play as well.

I love this game
I love this game. It was easy to learn and fun to play. The game allows you to acquire sugar cubes! The game design is nice looking, and the overall feel of the game is elegant. This game is more geared toward women, but my boyfriend has found this game quite exciting to play too.

Mediocre game - great design
This is a fun style game, its cute and interesting. Unfortunately the gameplay is not as good as other small package easy games like this - love letter for example is better.

Best tea serving card game out there.
Picked this up because I really enjoy quick "filler" type games that have straight forward rules and play quickly (think Love Letter, Coup). Each player starts with an identical set of cards. Eight are layed out in front of you face down. Your job is to score points by turning over high value cards before you opponent. Therein lies the game. Each card you turn over, has an effect on you or your opponent (trading cards, flipping cards back over, rearranging things). The higher point cards effect you negatively, the lower point cards give you an advantage. Silly tea serving theme makes for the most bazaar trash talking ever. Fun easy game.

speed of game depends on players
Fun game for 2-4 players, 2 players with a sense of humor was very fun and 3 players was a bit less (one person being more staid likely did not help). 4 people would probably be ideal. The card backs are pretty and the game easy to pick up and play, but strategy people can plot quite a bit as well. Our games with a strategist did go on 30 minutes longer PER HAND as they kept rethinking every.damn.move. , however the game was still enjoyable. Was a good present.

Great card game, especially for tea lovers!
I love hosting tea parties along with playing games so my husband thought it would be a great gift and he was right! Really simple with easy instructions to jump right in and start playing, each game lasts about 10 -15 minutes so it's great for a quick hand verses a long in depth game. Perfect for friends who may not enjoy board games or a speedy game if you dont have alot of time. Recommend if you enjoy card games, and you'll love it if you enjoy tea :)

Tea for 3 (not 2)
Much more fun for 3 players than for 2. Some of the cards cause players to "play favorites" - e.g. you can gang up on someone or help someone, at your whim. E.g. you can choose one player to steal a card from. That can make the dynamics tricky. Super cute decorations and it's a cool idea for a game.
