This rail is great. I had my inground pool deck redone and when the rail I ordered didn't arrive by the time they were pouring the concrete footing. This means even if I drilled the holes for the railing, it wouldn't have been bonded which doesn't follow code. For the past 2 years, everyone has had to walk out of the pool holding onto the floor next to the stairs. When getting in the kids had to sit on the top stair and then walk down holding on the the edge of the pool.I don't know why I didn't look for something like this earlier. I was always nervous about people getting in and out of the pool. Not anymore!!! This railing is excellent. It took me about an hour to install the two On-deck mounting bases into the bullnose concrete deck. I bought my own steel anchors as others have suggested. Very happy with this purchase.

So found out in the process of getting an installer that: 1 -saftron is really customer friendly and will give tech support etc. And 2- the railings they sell are sealed and constructed to be very sturdy and not to need to be connected to the pools ground wire if you use their anchors. Which are also available on Amazon and not expensive. They have a website and all of the warranty and grounding information is there. As well as install instructions etc.

Too soon to tell as no installation has happened yet. Instructions are somewhat difficult, had to go online for more help. Does not come with mounting brackets, wish I had known when ordering..additional $60

There was no problem installing the rail.

I had mine installed, would recommend purchase the anchors as well for stability
