Zoo Med Can O` Grasshoppers 20 Count (Pack of 3)

My skink always likes these.

I get these for my sugar gliders and they love them! The grasshoppers are very large- about 2 inches long! They are dead, (just in case anyone may think they are live). They are brown/dark brown in color and there is a smell. Each can comes with a plastic "spoon" to help pick up the grasshoppers but a small pair of tweezers would be more helpful. I feed my sugar gliders 2-3 each a few times a week. Grasshoppers are low in fat content so they are more healthy than mealworms for sugar gliders. Once open, you store the can with lid in the refrigerator for about 7-8 days. I have tried to keep them longer but they begin to mold so it's best to use them up within a week. These are excellent to keep in an emergency evacuation/travel kit.

I own a giant plated lizard and boy does she have an appetite. She loves crickets, mealworms, and even small portions of fruit but I wanted to feed her something both as a treat, and satisfying. Usually I order the Zoo Med Can o Crickets and she can't resist! But these grasshoppers she absolutely LOVES. She can literally smell them as I open the can and comes running up to eat. I shall definitely order more in the future!

For the money I think these are excellent. They are the perfect size for my adult beardy, he LOVES them. I use them in his salads sometimes or just as a treat when I don't have mice. These are really easy just peal the lid and feed, They also smell like bacon? or something not sure if its just me but they don't smell terrible at least to me, which is good.

The jumbo grasshoppers are awesome. My bearded dragons go crazy over them. Great food choice for bearded dragons instead of Super Worms.
