This is by far the best Border Collie book I have ever purchased!
This is by far the best Border Collie book I have ever purchased!It gives heaps of information about BC's.It includes pictures and the history of a BC,plus it is written by an experienced BC handler.If I could choose only one BC book, it would be this one!(BC stands for Border Collie.)

Although ours is a Border Collie MIX, this book provides a lot of insight into these really great dogs.

Border Collies are the best breed!
Very well written book. Covers all stages of life for the breed. Many pictures also in this book and very informative! A must have for anyone wanting to know more about Border Collies!

Very well written. As already stated, a few trouble areas could use a bit more detail (housebreaking tips and tricks?) i would recommend this to anyone looking to supplement their BC research

This is a nice book to learn more about your Collie. I found it informative for helping us learn more about our Border Collie puppy.

I'm keeping it because it's still usable but I am disappointed with the treatment of the copy I got
At a glance, I'd give the book 5 stars. It looks informative and should be helpful with the new puppy. My copy of the book however arrived damaged. It had what looks to be a box cutter slice in the back cover and the front cover is bent. I'm keeping it because it's still usable but I am disappointed with the treatment of the copy I got.

Beautiful pictures and lots of interesting information
It's good - and a great breed specific overview. It's a bit alarming in the dire warnings about the Border Collie personality; It almost feels like the mission of the writer is to scare the mere mortal off of attempting this breed, at least not if you don't run a working sheep farm. Glad I got the dog before I got the book, or I might not have her today!
