STAEDTLERGraphite 777 Drafting Mechanical Pencils 5 pk, 0.5 mm widths (Pack of 5 Pencils)

This is such a quality product, and I have been using these exact mechanical pencils for my work as a teacher for many years. I use them to record grades, and I have also used them for drawing. I like the .5 size for the fine line, but the main thing I love about these pencils is that they will take refills for YEARS and still work, unless they are stolen by students (which has happened a few times, so I have to label them very clearly and hide them!) Students who need supplies take them because of the awesome colors and they look cool. Even the erasers on the end are high quality.

I have some nice drafting mechanical pencils, but wanted some for daily use at home or the office. These are great "everyday" pencils that are of a very good quality, as I would expect from Staedtler. The bright colors are a nice touch of character. The mechanism and eraser of these pencils work reliably. I really like these pencils and recommend them for regular use.

I ordered the whole set for the green pencil as I have been trying to find one for so long after my older one got stolen; I received all colours except green !I love these pencils and especially the green one !

I like the feel of them in my hand, good eraser, great colors. Good price.

Can no longer purchase these locally. They write so smoothly and are very comfortable in the hand - no ridges, hard spots, protruding buttons, etc. I prefer these over expensive mechanical pencils.
