I absolutely love my cell phone holder. It makes navigation easier.

I really like it, I did not over tighten it into the CD slot for fear of breaking something. Heat will melt the glue holding the rubber feet on, they could get stuck in your CD so only use this for CD trays that will never be used. Aside from that, it's robust, it holds my phone well, it's easy to operate, it's held up to it's first summer of 105 weather. it's positioned perfectly in the CD slot keeping my phone out of sight from public and out of the direct sunlight for me at least. It doesn't vibrate. Doesn't bend my charge cable. can rotate or reposition at a whim. It does get lose as the day goes on so retighten it daily if you're constantly touching the unit.

The open and close is very smooth and fits my galaxy s20+ with a punk case which is pretty wide and tall. I do feel there are some design flaws. The worst one for me is the release button being on the back and it takes a good bit of pressure to push, which means you have to put your thumb on your phone screen and finger on the release button and push to release the phone, it's not enough pressure to damage the phone, but its something I dislike about it, I'm so used to my old holder that I could hit the button on the side and it released my phone, this takes more effort and caution. The other flaw isn't too big of a deal, but the forks at the bottom of the holder extend 2 clicks, but even fully extended almost half my phone is sticking out of the top of the holder, my phone is especially large, so I know this won't be a big deal for most, but I also know that there are bigger phones than mine. I'd like them to make the forks optional, either buy folding them up or removing them.All in all the holder is fine, I bought to replace my old cd phone holder I bought at Walmart that was breaking. This holder seems to be of much higher quality so I plan to keep it for a while, I will update if I have any issues.

Seriously, I can't even remember the last time I played a CD on my car stereo (but even if I did, this product won't keep it from playing). After having passengers sit on my phone, having to fish for it when it slides onto the floor, and dropping it in between that awkward slit between the console and the seat, I finally broke down and got one of these. Best thing I ever did.I've been fighting it, because I only knew about the vent ones, which always broke off the louvers in my other cars - then that vent would stare at you like it was missing a tooth - didn't want that to happen in this car. But this one's great: nice and sturdy, you can rotate it, tilt it, pivot it, have your phone sideways, have it looking up at you, have it facing your passenger, anything you want it to do. The plastic mount is pretty thick, but I would just hold it at the fin/base while you're making these adjustments for added support. My favorite part is the push button release, which makes the sides slowly and magically expand, as if there's a little valet inside the mount. Classy!

I love this phone holder. It’s incredibly sturdy. It doesn’t bounce around like all the other ones I’ve purchased. Very easy to put together and to install in your car. My iPhone 12 Pro Max is in a Lupa wallet case and it fits just fine. I recommend this purchase if you have a cd player in your car.

I still use this because I am too lazy to buy a different one. Once installed, it is too close to all the other dials in my car. Should be farther away from the cd holder.

I love this item. I did not want to put adhesive on my dashboard, not did I want anything obstructing my field of view. I have a 2010 Subaru Legacy and it works great. It does interfere with the view and use of the radio a little bit, but I am ok with this as I don't change the station much anyway.All you need to do is slide the unit in the CD slot and then spin the wingnut to expand the the flaps and secure it in the slot. **TIP** There are pieces of foam that adhere to the plastic flaps that fit inside the CD slot. These adhesive foam strips must be in place in order for it to fit securely inside. It seems these were labeled as optional, but I find they are definitely not. Without them just a little bump and the whole thing will fall out. Hard plastic against hard plastic was not sturdy, but foam against hard plastic was.

I was looking for a replacement for a vent-mount phone holder because it was blocking the air conditioning. I really like this one, it was easy to install and feels sturdier than the average phone holder. In my '14 Acura RDX it holds the phone in a perfect position so I can still see the most of the radio screens, and all of the screen for the backup camera. In the extreme heat we're having the plastic seemed to flex a little and it rotated more easily than I would like (it still stayed in place decently.. just looser than I preferred). So I took some thread tape and applied it the threads which tighten the phone holder on the base, now it is very solid. One other thing I might change is the large wingnut that tightens the mount into the CD slot.. it could get in the way or block car radio screen depending on how you position it. A smaller wingnut or thumbscrew would probably work better and I may look to swap it out. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.
