I also put this in a dishwasher after each use and it has not scratched or chipped.Its comfortable and functional and allows me to whisk matcha at a comfortable speed. I purchased this whisk a few months ago and here are my opinions of it:Overall this whisk has been very useful when making my matcha lattes. The bamboo whisk creates a smooth matcha that makes my lattes 3 times cheaper and more tasty compared to the cafes I've gone to. The only complaint I have with this product is that the whisk wasn't able to fully expand before each time I've soaked it. I'm not sure if it has any effects toward my making of matcha but so far my lattes are non-affected.
