Nice Glass and Super Cute
I was looking for one of these and most of them are plastic. I wanted glass. I was disappointed when I got it and the top was plastic; HOWEVER, after researching it it's plastic because the metal tops on dispensers usually break down in the inside, and that's why they use plastic. Sure enough, I looked under my glass syrup dispensers with metal lids, and there was breakdown of some sort....rust? So, I felt better about the plastic lid. It looks very nice. When refilling it, you have to place your finger on the bottom so the honey doesn't leak out. That's the only little mess about these. It's super cute on my countertop.

No more lost honey!!
A honey bee makes a teaspoon of honey in its lifetime. With this server every drop is used. No more drips wasted . Easy to used. When it closes there are no drips. Love it.

Elegant looking, really pretty design and functional!
I use this dispenser every single day and I love the design. Super easy to fill ~ just unscrew the top and either squeeze (if the honey is coming from a squeezable bottle) or pour through a funnel. Just have to hold a finger over the bottom (but even if you don't, it's such a slow trickle out it's not a big deal; you don't lose much honey ~ just doe it over the sink, or a mug when you want to have tea) so the honey doesn't come out.I have no issues with dispensing the honey when I use it. Yes, it may be a bit slower in the colder months. I have not had my honey crystalize in it as of yet, but if it did, I would put the base in the microwave with water, then set the dispenser on top of it and let the honey warm up. That would probably do the trick.I love that this is glass and wipes down/washes very easily. I wish the top that screwed on was stainless steel (they do have these on Amazon, but they are VERY pricey). For the price, this is excellent and I would recommend it!

Easier and Less Waste
Honey is thick, sticky stuff. No dispenser I've seen can change that. But, the NORPRO 780 makes it much easier to enjoy honey with less mess. Filling it is the toughest part, but not bad. Just keep one finger over the dispensing hole until you screw the lid back on. After you've done it once, it's pretty easy. Filling the base with hot water to make the honey less viscous works fine. Mine drips a drop or two just after I release the trigger. Unlike squeeze bottles, there's hardly any wasted honey. I'm enjoying more honey now because it's so much easier to dispense. I would be willing to pay a little more for a version with a sturdier metal top and dispenser mechanism than this model has.

Drips into glass holder
It looks great but can't stop dripping into the glass holder. Worthless
