Another artistic arctic gem!
An unexpected pleasure to wake up to this novella having arrived, and on a day when I was free to devour it! It's a quick read at about 70 pages but the story doesn't feel rushed or forced, the pacing as ever hits just the right note. Some familiar names crop up in this story about a missing artist and the black market trade in souvenirs that aren't meant to be taken out of the country, and it's a pleasure as always to be reunited with our old friends Maratse and Petra. The author doesn't shy away from the very real problems affecting Greenland's people and this human element really elevates this whole series into something special, the author's deep respect and love for this country - much like Maratse's own - really shines through in all his writing. Looking forward to the next one!
