I've always had a hard time getting matches to ignite and I'm paranoid I'm going to burn myself. I use this lighter for lighting candles. I feel totally safe using it - and I like how the lighter part retracts into the wand so you don't have to worry about accidentally igniting it. It seems very well made and that it will last for years. I noticed the battery lasted a very long time - I purchased it around the holidays, and it lasted until late April when I had to recharge it to light a spring candle. Definitely a great purchase for any candle lover.

Love it, such a cool product. Mad that it took me this long to finally get one. It takes a couple seconds longer to light my candles versus a lighter but that's no big deal imo. It's so nice not having to flip a candle upside down to get to the bottom and burn your hand trying to light a wick with a lighter. Was so sick of that, burning your hand on the metal too. This is compact, easy to use, can't accidentally burn myself! I love that it's rechargeable of course. Would recommend all day long!

I had no idea such a thing existed until I stumbled upon this on Amazon just searching for a candle lighter. I live with a smoker, so gas lighters tend to disappear. I found the perfect solution to that problem in this product. Furthermore, as much as I loved burning the hair off my knuckles trying to light 3 wick jar candles, that problem is also gone. I’ve been using it a week or so and have not had to charge it so far. As long as it keeps working, zero complaints!

I have used this for several months to light candles. The battery life seems to be more than adequate, as I have only charged it once. I had another brand previously and it was obviously not as good of quality, so I would say if you are looking for a good lighter, this is the one to get, especially for the price.

I didn’t know this existed. I bought so many lighters because now the fuel from the lighters just drip out when you light it. I dropped one lighter and it cracked and fluid all over the floor. Pretty dangerous I’d say.The lighter fluid was making me sick and my pipe contents were always moist and smelled weird. Who knows what is used for lighter fluid today. I couldn’t figure out why my heart was racing every time I took a hit after 10 lighters later. Yes battery life is short, but I don’t mind. I just plug it in constantly and get a spare. The end will not fit inside a pipe bowl so I was just going to get a glass one hitter. Remember not to put the end in the candle wax or the pipe contents because it’ll clog up the ignition part. I gently wipe it clean after each use with a damp Q-tip and dry it off with the other end. Not sure if that’s the right way to do it. Extremely excellent concept very glad. it should eliminate lots of health hazards, pollution and waste of plastic. Also, those of you with defibrillators, this does affect mine so I make sure it’s not close. It might just be me.

Very pretty and sleek. Charges fast! Does not feel flimsy, seems made to last. I only took one star away as the "rose gold" color is definitely just normal gold. Still very much like the color so will be keeping, but others be aware the color is not as expected.

The media could not be loaded. I got this to replace another arc lighter. The other one was slightly longer and had a flexible shaft and was better at getting into deep narrow spots but the build quality was poor and the bottom came off and had to be taped back on. That would have been fine but it also ran out of battery very quickly. This replacement seems to have a sturdier build and better charging mechanism. So far I’m pleased with it. In one of the photos you can see both lighters and a deep narrow candle. The old lighter could reach and light the wick even at the bottom. This new replacement cannot reach the wick unfortunately. I don’t have any other candles in that awkward size so I’m not worried about it. I like this new lighter so far. If it starts to have any issues I’ll definitely update this review.
